i think the albos here are just upset that Serbs are arresting albo's for actual war crimes.. where as albos arrest serbs for no real reason other than voting papers.

Amnesty International is on the case - and people all over the world who had forgotten about Serbia and its problems will be reminded of Milosevic and what the Kosovars were fighting against. Probably not such a good idea for a country trying to join the EU.

“Abazi was allegedly revealing classified information to NATO in 1999”. His lawyer has announced that he will file an appeal to the Court of Appeals in Niš on Monday.

What a joke! The war is over long time ago...According to Serbian logic, Kosovo police should arrest all Serbs in northern Kosovo because undoubtely they have been and are all Serbian spies...)

What a shamble are these Serbian polititians....

Really? Listening to you and other regular Albanian trolls on this site, one would think the war is still going on what with the constant paranoia of a society in denial, clinging desperately to its own sense of victimization and the days of long past when it was briefly the world's darling.

Indeed, a joke. A bad one. Unfortunately, a joke of similar quality that was made before was KPS arresting Serbs for 'carrying voter lists' and other nonsense accusations. All purely political games played on the back of ordinary persons.

Willi, do you mean Kosovo*, when you refer to the Serbian province? OK, if this guy was doing dirty little spy things within the former Yugoslavia during the NATO war with Yug., then he should be prosecuted for espionage - just because the war is over, does not eradicate the crime. Should we let all war criminals go free too, because the war ended in '99? Albanians want all kinds of justice because of alleged Serb crimes during the war, why shouldn't the Serbs have justice too? I don't understand you Albanians.

I take issue with the use of the word ethnic. In my view the two groups should be described simply either as Albanian/Serbian or kosovo-albanian/kosovo-serb.

The arrests are a move to counter the recent arrests made by the Kosovo police. Nothing will happen, they will be released within a month or so. In the mean time no local elections will take place in Kosovo but parliamentary ones.

Parliamentary elections do not breach anything. Serbs all over the world are able to vote on parliamentary elections.

Serbia is playing its dirty games once more, and it seems as if they simply do not learn anything from the past. With this case and the way the serbian intereior minister even said himself, they once more violate international law, and it won't be long till the EU and the rest of the free world will show Belgrade that this will no longer be tollerated. These people will be released in a very short time, and Serbia's international standing will be damaged again. Don't these guys in Belgrade see that they constantly make fools of themselves. Announcing that they will hold elections in the teritory of Kosova, and now this, and than they won't be able to follow up on their threats, because they violate international law. These are just the latest irrational actions they got involved in, and that list is so, so long. They proved again to the entire word that they still need to learn a lot about what democracy means, and that the present day Serbia is far from becoming a member of the EU.
