Danieli to employ "nearly thousand workers"

Minister of Economy Nebojša Ćirić says the Italian company Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche "will make investments in phases amounting to around EUR 500mn".

Hmm... is this the unit that used to be owned by US Steel? US Steel had three things... the main one was in Smederevo. They went away - but I dunno if they left Sabac too? At any rate, if they did it's nice that these guys took their place. Hopefully it gives some tax revenue if nothing else.
