Exactly Lenard. Who can blame them when they don't want a repeat of Britt Lapthorne crime.
You need to be able to understand even the local police in order to ensure that you get back from a night out in Dubrovnik safely.
It is only for the luck of a tourist having a Serbian friend that she too wasn't abducted while in a night club in Dubrovnik. Her Serbian friend overheard a conversation about them being abducted that night.
I saw it on a documentary here In Australia, telling how even the police there could be mixed up in this human trafficking ring.

So you see, it pays to learn the local language when traveling to Croatia.

'Well exactly rite Serbians ,Montenegrins ,Bosnians speak the eloquent Croatian language'

It's a shame the eloquence of your Ikavski dialect of Serbo-Croatian (or Croato-Serbian if you wish) is lost in its translation into English.

'Montenegro is a civil state, which means that as a civil state it has its language. Serbia has Serbian, Croatia has Croatian, and Montenegro should have Montenegrin.'

This is absurd. The United States, UK, Australia, New Zealand and most of Canada, the Caribbean, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are all independent or semi-independent civil states, yet even those of them who for some reason don't like English people proudly proclaim that English is their language.

Moreover, Brazilians speak Portuguese, Austrians and most Swiss speak German and the majority of the Latin American nations speak Spanish, despite the differences in dialect in all of these examples being far greater than those between Serbs, Croats, Bosnians and Montenegrins. Even the Flemish of Belgium and the Dutch understand that they speak exactly the same language despite giving them different names.

The claims by Montenegrins, Croats and Bosniaks that they speak different languages from Serbs only serves to underline how weak their sense of being separate nations are. And if they really did feel they were so different, they would not need to make such claims.

To get around, or over, this shameful and embarrassing travesty, just follow the money.

Montenegro is a civil state, which means that as a civil state it has its language. Serbia has Serbian, Croatia has Croatia, and Montenegro should have Montenegrin.

This is what keeps nationalists up in arms. Language does not define the country or make it a civil or non-civil state.
Austria, the USA, Mexico, Canada, Portugal, Tunisia, Chili, Venezuala, and more all do not have a language named after them. A dialect is there but a language...no.

For Crna Gora it is just language envy.
