If your cause is so popular, why do you and your buddies have to resort to terroristic threats to prevent Parada Ponosa?

Your tactics are a sign of your weakness, not your stregnth. I'll be in Belgrade this October. I'll also be in Tirana in May for their Gay Pride Parade - just so you know I'm holding everyone to the same standard and not just drinking hatorade for all Serbs.

We will march this year. In Central Belgrade. In the afternoon. On a Sunday in October.

If you and your buddies wish to riot and burn the town down because 100 Gay Serbians and their supporters want to march 10 blocks in downtown Belgrade fully clothed and holding rainbow flags, that is an issue between Dacic and you guys. If the police don't want to do their jobs, that's their problem. We're marching. Its time you stop blaming those that are within the law and stop celebrating those that seek to use violence and terrorist threats to force others to adhere to their agenda. If there is violence, then it will be the responsibility of those doing the violence. Which won't be us. The Interior Ministry has now had eighteen months to prepare for Parada Ponosa 2012. If they aren't ready by October 2012, its not our fault. Its theirs.

Lol the usual suspects, Danilo and Tom in Lazybrook.

You do realise that this will benefit Obradovic in the long run, whether you like it or not he will be viewed as somewhat of a martyr, going to prison because he said some words, especially as there are many many Serbs who feel exactly the same way about this issue. They wouldn't even be able to imprison all of the people saying the exact same things because prisons cant accommodate for them. Stunts like this and propaganda like the 'Parada' film will only cause people to repel whats being forced upon them. So yeah, you wont be laughing in the long run, just watch how opposition to the gay parade increases.

Will he ever go to jail? I'll bet the Serbian authorities let him out so that he can make terroristic threats against the Parada Ponosa in 2012. And if it takes 3 years for Serbia to prosecute someone for crimes committed in 2009, it appears obvious that terrorism advocates can act with virtual impugnity.

10 months in jail for preventing all public speech by a minority for years? Who comes up with your sentencing guidelines? Sounds like the court gave him more of an 'attaboy' than a sentence.

Is it just me, or does anyone else here think that Obradović could fit right into the Ponos parade, instead of campaigning and threatening against it? Don't worry, Mladen, you will not catch anything if you are near the parade.
