It is for these reasons that Bosnia must centralise and absorb the recalcitrant from the dinosaur RS. Imagine the event that some wish to be, that BiH is consumed by Serbia, then what Serbia will present to the world is the confirmation of all those suspicions that it was bent on expansion and supported a 'boots and all' solution to attain such.

Hopefully Serbia has more pride and cultural awareness than that.

As to the old superficial comparison that BiH equated to Yugoslavia well there is a hint of truth in it as both recognised brotherhood and unity and a belief that tolerance and coexistence are worth investing in-(But there the comparisons ends)

The so called mono-ethnic states still seek this as their ideal without which they spiral into provincial fragmentation.

Bosnia shares its history amongst its Orthodox, Catholic, Moslem , Jewish, Nadrealist peoples and 'god willing' will continue to build upon such despite the Cro-Magnons lurking in its shadows.

I believe any many like me that Bosnia & Herzegovina in its form today can not last as a country because it represents a old Yugoslavia that never worked or functioned .it is a truly artificial and forced marriage between sworn enemies.God bless all Serbs.

Personally I am not against Bosnia (and others in Europe so NO Georgia) joining NATO.
However, because of the federal nature of Bosnia it is logical that there must be a majority in BOTH parts of Bosnia: Federetion and RS.

Bosnia will be able apply for HATO membership only on the behalf of the croat/muslim federation. No serbs will die for fat and lazy americans in Afghanistan, Irak and soon Iran. Let muslim bosnjaks fight and die against their own people in the middle east.

Talking about the upcoming NATO Summit in Chicago, he stressed a referendum on Bosnia's accession to the western military alliance can only be organized at the state level.

Not exactly, a referendum must be held in both entities, Republika Srpska AND the muslim-croatian federation. If the result is YES to nato membership in BOTH entities, then no problem, an application can be sent in.

BUT,
if the result is NO to nato membership in one of the two entities, the question is solved for a long period of time. Of course a new referendum can be held in a number of years if Bosnia continue to be a state. That is true democracy.
