"Just like in the UNSC meetings you will see the countries that have recognized Kosovo refer to it as Republic of Kosovo and you will see Russia refer to it as the Serbian province of Kosovo and China to refer to it just as Kosovo."
(a New Day, 21 March 2012 14:00)

Exactly to avoid this name chaos, an agreement for the representation in regional conferences was reached. Furthermore, it enables all parties to participate, without the usual silly games (Serbian walking out or not appearing when Kosovo representatives are invited, Kosovo not being invited or allowed to participate at all because it's not considered a country, and so on)

You will have asterisk until loong time and when the asterisk is gone then you will no that Kosovo is a part of Serbia again!!

If there's an international agreement on how your guests (on regional conferences and meetings) have to be represented, you should better stick to it and not to ignore it and do what you want and write some fantasy names like 'Republic of Kosovo' or 'Kingdom of Kosovo' on the name plates. Otherwise, no one takes you seriously.
(Comm. Parrisson, 21 March 2012 11:36
An international agreement is an agreement between 2 or more nations. Considering this was an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo (only) you have announced the independence of Kosovo. EU is a facilitator and not a part of the agreement.
Unless the agreement is signed by any other country it is in no way binding on that country. And if a Country wishes to refer to Kosovo as Republic of Kosova as their country has recognized it they have that right. Just like in the UNSC meetings you will see the countries that have recognized Kosovo refer to it as Republic of Kosovo and you will see Russia refer to it as the Serbian province of Kosovo and China to refer to it just as Kosovo.

We will see if this is the first Agreement that the Albanians of Serbia’s Province of Kosovo will keep, and as a Compromise, perhaps, the Kosovo Albanians should read the footnote in English, and then in Albanian.

After that, the other Participates should read it in English and then in their own Language, and after that was done, it would be the signal for the start of the regional Conference.

This is a Good Opportunity for the Albanians to show that they can keep Agreements that they have signed up to, and all Delegates at these regional Conference should encourage the Albanians to keep their signed Agreements.

As a Serb you should know that best. Imagine that a "long established democracy" like Serbia suddenly decides to violate an agreement by reading funny statements about long lost provinces. How serious would you take Serbia? And would you trust them to stick to any other agreement?

pss

pre 12 godina

Any agreement with Kosovo Albanians should be in three languages.Official
language in which is document drafted should be in English.Transalated copies should be in Serbian and Albanian languages respectively. All three copies should be signed by EU,Serbian and Albanian representative. THERE SHALL BE ONLY ONE INTERPRETATION OF ANY SIGNED DOKUMENT AND THAT SHALL BE DONE BY INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE IF NECESSARY,ON THE SPOT.This is a only way that any agreement between the parties can have a chance to work in this region.
(lukebuyenovich, 21 March 2012 02:00)
Are you serious??? Currently any ICJ decision may take 2-10 years, you want to tie it up with everytime Serbia and Kosovo disagrees whether the fork should be on the left or right? But glad you still have faith in the system all the other Serbs changed their tune once the last famous opinion was given.
More than likely the ICJ would opinion that these type of agreements are not really legally binding.

Actually the snacks and refreshments were not important, Nikolic was not attending. He is the only one known that ends up in the hospital if he skips a meal. lol. And he might be the next leader of Serbia. even more lol.

Yes of course you are too funny. That's the name that serious people call you since, well, nobody takes you seriously. If the countries holding the conferences are responsible for making the nameplates, then they are not following the regional agreement. However, the fact that Albanians and Serbs walked out tells me that it's not necessarily the actions of the hosts that cause the problems. If Albanians don't respect the agreement their reps signed, then they stand to lose out on the speed of the process of EU integration in the long run. The rule in the civilized world goes, if you signed an agreement you respect it. Stop acting like children. Imagine, you and your peers accusing Serbs of being children. Now that is too funny.

Unless the agreement is signed by any other country it is in no way binding on that country. And if a Country wishes to refer to Kosovo as Republic of Kosova as their country has recognized it they have that right. Just like in the UNSC meetings you will see the countries that have recognized Kosovo refer to it as Republic of Kosovo and you will see Russia refer to it as the Serbian province of Kosovo and China to refer to it just as Kosovo.

too funny

Kosovo has honored the agreement...unless someone here can explain what the Kosovar representatives did to upset belgrade clowns. Don't these kids know that you don't make your own name plate and bring it with you but instead the hosting country is in charge of those? Tables too, snacks, refreshments, etc.

PS: Had to mention the tables and snacks before belgrade started another fiasco.

Sincerely,

Actually the snacks and refreshments were not important, Nikolic was not attending. He is the only one known that ends up in the hospital if he skips a meal. lol. And he might be the next leader of Serbia. even more lol.
