There is no such thing as a Kosovo state. Kosovo is a Serbian province ruled by UN. Check 1244: like it or not, it is still valid.
(Ron, 21 March 2012 03:57)

Exactly... that's why valid elections will be held when UNMIK says so

Excellent! You take care of the Serb hypernationalists, I'll take care of the Albanian hypernationalists, and maybe if there's time we can actually find something intelligent to talk about when we're not laughing our butts off.

I even recommended your post! :)

“The president of the Kosovo assembly in Priština has said that "Kosovo's institutions should prevent Serbian elections in Kosovo by any means".”….He did not say By any means he say ..BY FORCE…there is a big diferent between this two words ,and when you translate this translate on a right way.By force the man say ,this is they way of taking with Serbian people and no one from EU will say nothing about this, nothing!!

i'm still so suprised about how these albanians think they are in the right. they moved in kosovo.

And to the idiot who says serbia has no army? what are you on about? My friends dad was just called back to serbia to train the new special ops unit. he stood his ground against over 500 navy seals and sent them running. mind you he was with only 150 men. Americans themselves say when it comes to ground combat that the serbs are not to be underestimated.
So if a war breaks out because of these albanians, then they will also be sent packing. Because the Serbs DO have an army. a very smart one. Albanians however have nothing but a pair of lips to kiss the a55es of KFOR & Nato etc. albanians have no army.

People residing inside Serbia voicing their real concerns. And Kosovo for the majority of people commenting there isn't one. So what are you doing on the English version? Try to convince your compatriots first. Good luck!
(WTH?, 21 March 2012 16:39)

Indeed. And when I'm with my Serbian colleagues, we talk sensibly and spend lots of time criticizing our own side. Just like the Albanians on Koha Ditore who hate Thaci and are angry at the corruption, crime, and mafia-mentality of the "heroes" every Albanian in Brooklyn loves. How is it, then, that Serbia lost four wars in eight years, during the 1990's, and this resulted in much suffering for the Serbian people and great shame and humiliation for the nation.
(The Count of Kosova, 21 March 2012 04:56)

Your just not intelligent enough to understand that the Serbs held on to the very best parts of the old Yugoslavia and won all their objectives except the Kosovo issue that is still going on – in other words it is not finished yet.

Look at what is left; Croatia, a country that lives extremely well off tourism even during the last four years of near world depression (perhaps they might teach others to do the same as no other nation is capable of doing the same), Slovenia – rock and mountains that also lives mainly off tourism, BiH – they just live and nothing more and the most successful part is RS, Macedonia and Montenegro – it speaks for it self. These last two have unemployment levels of 65%, but as they are free and democratic its only just a tad over 20%.

Now the best is always the last – we have 1.2 million Albanians caged in Kosovo with no end in sight to this misery and despite having some so called very powerful and influential allies their misery remains. Perhaps you have an answer to that question, but know how you work I doubt it.

We won everything we set out for and the best part it’s not over yet. Other parts will be returned down the track while the Albanians will live in abject misery and sing songs of freedom and democracy, but try putting that one in the pot and eating it.

Perhaps you might name a few battles your goat herders have won – it should be good for a laugh or two.

But to Pristina authorities make sure you pucker up and kiss our Serbian backsides before taking any action as NATO will use live rounds. Pristina authorities are piss and wind as usual – all for local consumption.

(Steve B., 20 March 2012 15:32)

Dear Steve B.,
Serbia has no army either. Djindjic, Kostunica, and Tadic reformed it in the last twelve years after we politely asked them to do so. If you recall, the resulting unemployed were not happy for a few moments, they blocked bridges and caused some sparkles but then they moved on to new opportunities. If you recall, they have been often on the news fighting as mercenaries all over the world in the last years, and burning embassies and hating several categories of Serbian people in Serbia proper. Bottom line is Serbia does not need an army, if need be in the future, our army will hug you and protect you. Cheers.

(The Count of Kosova, 21 March 2012 04:56)

1. Slovenia - not a war. A few days of fighting that Milosevic had no intention of winning. This was made to look like Serbia could be defeated to get Croatia to follow.

2. Croatia - defeat only after Milosevic pulled his forces out. Operation Storm, that great glorious liberation Croatia likes to think it is, was little more than a few Croatian soldiers finally financed by the US shooting at old Serb men abandoned by Milosevic. And in some cases, those old men shot back and killed a number of Croatian soldiers. Before Milosevic withdrew support, Croatia couldn't take back Krajina or Vukovar.

3. Bosnia - Dayton. You call that a defeat? I call it a cease-fire.

4. Kosovo - NATO bombardment. Not KLA. And Serbs still were given generous concessions in Kosovo.

Now some trigger happy Albanian thinks he can launch an assault on the north to prevent people from, what, voting? Who's going to support you on that? Stop getting giddy watching those silly YouTube videos that distort reality for your side :)

LOL Koha Ditore is too intelligent for these trolls. The people who comment there actually LIVE in Kosovo, so their comments are more critical of Kosovo's leadership, the corruption, and day to day problems. It would be too much for the diaspora Albanians who comment here to handle because they think all problems are caused by Serbs and actually believe Thaci is a great guy who can create a Greater Albanian state bla bla bla :)

Steve B,

Ha, ha, ha, Serbia said that when it started the wars of the 1990's and we all know how badly that ended for Serbia. The Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians and K. Albanians all had no armies when Serbia attacked them, however each of them managed to defeat Serbia and as a result Serbia now has over one million internal Serb refuges that Serbia has turned its back on. So it is Serbia that has been humiliated and left in disgrace.

Parliamentary elections should absolutely be held in northern Kosovo. Those four municipalities are part of Serbia and only Kosovar Albanians dispute this for some reason. Local elections should be held in Zvecan and Zubin Potok as their mandates will expire this spring. Leposavic and North Kosovska Mitrovica will have their next local elections in May 2014 as that is when their mandates expire. Now, for Serbian citizens who live outside of Serbia and northern Kosovo, they will be able to vote in the parliamentary elections at Serbian embassies abroad or would probably be able to vote in Serbia if they came there since the new registry list of voters allows Serbians to vote anywhere in Serbia and not in their place of residence.

I love reading the Albanians calling on all Albanians from surrounding (stolen) lands to come join them in the North of Kosovo to help exterminate the Serbs.

If 99.99% of Albanians weren't more interested in selling: Weapons, kidneys & heroin on the black markets throughout Europe, then MAYBE there could be talk about some kind of half-hearted uprising.

Ha, ha, ha, Serbia said that when it started the wars of the 1990's and we all know how badly that ended for Serbia. The Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians and K.

This text reminds me of slavs they also have several names and are not united.....

So I conclude our Serbian/Slavic ancestors also lived here and we will defend what is ours, you can count Kosovo in that category!

How will Serbia react if Albania will call elections in Presheva Valley?
(Mirel)

Presheva Valley is official Serbian territory while Kosovo is disputable territory.
(aaayyy, 20 March 2012 15:26)

Presevo* Valley :)

Albanian trolls of this site, could you also please take an interest in animal welfare and treat your donkeys in a humane manner. I really worry about their welfare and treatment when in your care (or lack of).

Thanks

Why should it bother the Albanians so much if the Serbs voted in Serbia? Why is that such a great concern to you? Why is it your f$%#$$@%^ business to begin with? If Serbia lets them participate, who are you to say otherwise? Why are you even on this forum? If the Serbs want to discuss politics amongst themselves, about their own country, what F$%^&%$^ business is it of yours?

(Steve B., 20 March 2012 15:32)

UN 1244 that you serbs are screaming 24/7 allows only UNMIK and gonverment of Kosova to call the elections in Kosova with the help of KFOR.1244 doesnt even mention Serbia in this subject.
What Serbia is doing know is call for trouble...

Just take a look at this article about the Serbians getting crushed on Mt. Pastrik. The KLA called in the Serbian positions to NATO and the Serbs were bulldozed with cluster bombs. This is what awaits you if you think you're going to get tough again with the "serbian army".

There is no such thing as a Kosovo state. Kosovo is a Serbian province ruled by UN. Check 1244: like it or not, it is still valid.

Albanians should accept that at this moment Kosovo is still Serbian territory. This can change of course, but only by a mutual agreed deal!

I hope, KFOR,EULEX and UNMIK are listening and better start restraining these two-bits gunmen from Pristina.Kosovo Government is still under international control and resolution 1244 still applies.Who would in right state of mind grant full independence to such entity?Barely out of trees, still in terrorist mode, openly threatening Serbs of Nortern Kosovo.Unfortunately,it seems to me, KFOR,EULEX and UNMIK will be in Kosovo for quite some time.

(Jeff, 20 March 2012 18:03)

LOL Koha Ditore is too intelligent for these trolls. The people who comment there actually LIVE in Kosovo, so their comments are more critical of Kosovo's leadership, the corruption, and day to day problems. It would be too much for the diaspora Albanians who comment here to handle because they think all problems are caused by Serbs and actually believe Thaci is a great guy who can create a Greater Albanian state bla bla bla :)

i'm still so suprised about how these albanians think they are in the right. they moved in kosovo.
