NATO called on to properly investigate civilian deaths

NATO has not conducted a proper investigation, or provided compensations for civilian casualties of its air strikes in Libya, said Amnesty International (AI).

Bob the NATO apologist is back, praising the NATO war criminals and whitewashing their crimes. Hey Bob, are Libyans better off now that Al Qaeda is in charge, and that the country is disintigrating into tribal civil war? Libya was the richest country in Africa, and now it is going to broken up into little pieces and western oil companies are going to make billions, and leave nothing but scraps for the locals. That's the American way, eh Bob?

On another note, it seems that someone who probably considers themselves moderate has turning into an extremist. Since the bombing of Yugoslavia was not approved by the UNSC, there was nothing legal about it. In other words, NATO's aggression was illegal.

True NATO did not receive preapproval for its mission in Kosovo but it did receive the mandate post intervention to oversee the withdrawal of Serbian forces from Kosovo and to insure they did not return. Kind of a post approval if you would like.
However none of Milosevic's military intrusion into Kosovo was sanctioned by the UNSC as a matter of fact it was repeatedly condemned and ordered to immediately stop.
Do you feel the same about Russias intervention into Georgia??

You Nato lovers just will not acknowledge the fact that THEY have and are murdering innocent people.

Murder is murder regardless of which side commits it!!!

This is about NATO and Libya but instead of seeing one evil, some people have to bring up history to justify this evil by something they believe is worse.

Admittedly, NATO did gain UNSC approval for this intervention and it justified it as "protection of civilians", however, this "protection" amounted to many unnecessary civilian deaths and many war crimes.

We all know NATO will never investigate their own crimes and it has given itself immunity, because realistically, who is there to challenge them? That is the reason why we are continuing to see the destruction of one oil-relevant country after another.

What do you call those Serbs who killed women, children and the elderly in the former Yugo?
I'm guessing it's not MURDERERS but HEROES!
Is Assad a hero also?
Anyone who kills the weak is a hero to you. What a good principle to live by!
Based on the comments you make it appears as though someone's left foot booted you in the head!

Typical anti-NATO postings here.

Milosevic provoked and got interventions, so there will always be those who think like him who will try to turn things around against NATO rather than seeing that the problems were essentially home-grown.

At least NATO tries to stick to the law in its operations - more than can be said for the idiots who tied up UN peace-keepers in Bosnia, who shelled civilian areas for years, and did unnecessary murder of civilians.

The posters here would have rather Gdaffi carried on killing and suppressing his own people.

LIBYA
- A GOOD INTERVENTION BY NATO !!!
- FREED FROM A TYRANT !!!
- THANKS FOR THE HELP !!!
- WELL DONE NATO !!!

…. and see - I CAN SHOUT TOO !!!

AI, you must be kidding. The NATO acts the way they do, because they do not answer to anyone, and have total impunity in all their actions. It is like asking a dictator to answer to himself.
