What else can he say when campaiging for office during an election. Naturally he has to sound and look confident otherwise he will not be able to hold onto the seats his party already holds in Parliament. There is nothing unusual about his statement as even western politicians make such claims even though they end up losing office.

I think that every party says that they will win. Either way, winning's useless if one is not in the coalition. :/ I'd rather not see DS win, nor be in the coalition, but it's possible. Yet to say that one party will surely win is just sad to me. I wish that politicians (of all parties) didn't stoop this low.

How does he know DS will win? are they stuffing tha ballot boxes in readiness? There is no democracy in the EU, it was said that the fraud-'mishaps' in the UK elections would embarrass a banana republic. Tadic is surrendering your country and you will get little in return, I think it would be better for Serbia to remain non-aligned, choose your friends wisely, many governments in the EU are not your friends and want to control and dominate you.
