"KFOR spokesperson reiterated the necessity of for everyone in Kosovo to have freedom of movement"What a dishonest attempt by using the word freedom to cover up illegal establishment of Kosovo albanians authority on indigenous Serb's territory of Nortern Kosovo.Serbs are simply rejecting the Pristina's authority. They can govern themselves. Certainly, they do not need BOSSES from Pristina. So freedom of movement for everyone YES,BOSSES and terrorist from Pristina NO.

Kosovo Serbs have already achieved that, dear, thanks to Kosovo's Constitution which allows them to govern their own local affairs.

This is exactly the same Serbs was telling to the Croats, before August 1995. Since then, the river of Serbian tears didn't stop.

"KFOR's desire to conduct their missions free of any limitations was an attempt to provoke the local population, which could threaten the security in the region"

The local population is provoked by Resolution 1244 ?! That's strange - that's the resolution that says that Kosovo is Serbia according to some LOL

This entire conflict between the Serbs and KFOR has nothing to do with freedom of movement, it has to do with Eulex trying to impose Albanian customs officers at the border crossings. Regardless of the concessions that Belgrade made to Pristina, the Serbs in the North do not want the Albanians there. So let's stop this freedom of movement BS, that is not the problem. As for KFOR wanting Belgrade to resolve the issue, sure, Belgrade is willing to give anything away in their drive for EU talks, they do not live there, but the local Serbs do.

I guess the big question is, do they not want to be under Pristina authority or just not be under ANY authority. It is the agreement of the Belgrade govt(you know the one who the northern Serbs CLAIM is the legitimate govt) that the borders be integrated. They cannot be integrated without Albanians there.
So drop the bs not only is this not about freedom of movement nor is it about keeping the Pristina authorities out, it is pure and simple to do anything to keep ANY authorities out, including Belgrade.

Serbs are fighting for their very existence in North Kosovo. They know that if they fall under Pristina's authority, they will have to flee. From the crimes and ethnic cleansing that have happened to Serbs at the hands of the Albanians South of the Ibar, can you blame them, Muriel?
