Memorandum on Chinese language pilot project signed

Smart move. The day is soon approaching when Mandarin will be of more use to dealing in the world's economy than English. Serbs are fast learners and bright as can be. I am sure this project will be a success, and that mutual cooperation between Serbia and China will continue to flourish.

I don't think these kids will experience that day before they'll retire - English is the universal language worldwide, and it won't change soon :)
But anyway, the economic benefits of knowing Chinese are already similar important as, for example, French or Spanish, and more important than German or Russian. And its importance is growing.
I am a bit surprised that pupils the option to choose Chinese language/culture at school will be introduced only now, in other countries this is already possible for some years.
