Macedonian police make arrests in wake of violence
The police in Macedonia late on Sunday arrested seven persons in connection with a spate of ethnically motivated attacks in the towns of Skopje and Tetovo.
Why Albanians are so aggressive? I don't understand, they always have trouble with neighbors. In UK the worst criminals are Albanians from Kosovo. They treat women very violently.

Daniel he is not equating Albanians with Greeks, he is just telling something that have in common Albanian with Greeks, their anxiety on Balkan area. We are neighbors with Greeks from thousand years and know them directly not only by romantic story books as you do. I read a lot of ignorant neweuropean people that believe this romantic story of European civilization that comes from Greece. Yes it comes from Greece and we know this very well, but the reason that comes from Greece is because Greece was the most eastern European country and was in contact with East (Persia, India, China etc.). this Macedonian conflict started with a killing of 2 Albanian men by macedonian police officer.
They do follow their serb brother tactics about claiming Albanians killing Macedonians . This is what serbs did in Kosovo and look where they are today. When the day comes that they lose America's support in the Balkans, and we all know that day will come, the Albanians will silence like a mute. With a worldwide population of about 8 million, and half of those outside the Balkans, the Albanians sure do claim a lot of land as their own on the Balkan peninsula. How in the world did they manage to get so much land, with such a small population? Not to mention, the Ottomans were around for a bit in the Balkans, and didn't really care for anyone but their own. I am baffled. Where did the Albanians come from, and how did they come to claim so much land? The biggest question mark is, they have pretty much zero proof, through artifacts, cave paintings, literature, structures, etc. Today, they try and usurp from other ethnicities, but their really is no proof as anything Albanian specific in the Balkans. A true mystery. Yet in places like Macedonia, where they are causing problems as we speak, they claim that they are not being represented on their land. All I can say is, show me the undisputed proof that any of this land in the Balkans is yours, Albanians, by fact of being the first inhabitants, and I may feel some sympathy - kind of like when the USA took most of the Southern states from Mexico - and I may start to feel some sympathy. Until then, try something different besides violence to get your point across, the world has changed, and so should you.

Since when is pos WW2 the starting point of recognition of crimes? Serbs may have been a part of the civil war in Bosnia that had massacres on all sides, given..without question. Yet, these "massacres" pale in comparison, are not even on the radar map or vicinity of the amount of horror and death, MASS MURDER provided by Nazi Germany and their closest and dearest allies...CROATIAN and ALBANIANS. LEt us not forget, muslims and croats and albs were also a part of these crimes in the 90's, so you don't get a free ride on this nor do you get a hall pass. Yet, the continuation of what happened in Srebrenica continues, because thats all you have, that's it.
Bottom line was Serbs destroyed a muslim army within Srebrenica, women and children were spared. I know that mercy and amnesty was not provided to the millions of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies during WW2. FACT! As Croats celebrate Operation Storm, I celebrate the liberation of Srebrenica with as much enthusiasm...for spite.

Whilst albanians make up 30% of population of Macedonia the representation in state institution is way below that. I live in a Western European country where Serbian people have lived since the end of the second world war and they are law abiding citizens and no problems are caused by these people.

Albanians make up about 33% of the population of Macedonia. Albanians have lived in this region (Skopje was an Albanian town) for thousands of years. Albanians are mistreated in Macedonia by the government, state agencies, and by the "majority" of the Slavic population - the ethnic slurs and chants at sports/cultural events are disgusting. When the government says it wants to stop ethnic flare-ups, what most Albanians hear is that the government is looking to arrest more young Albanian men because they are the cause of the problem - while the Slav Macedonian racists, fanatics, and nationalists are citizens fearful of their "blood thirsty, criminal" Albanian neighbours.

Macedonia and Montenegro then would have to deal with Serb claims on their territories, kinda like Croatia and Bosnia had to. Croatia met that head on and dealt with it pretty well, Bosnia has suffered. Any alliance with Serbia is a bad idea
The only way to deal with this problem is if the 3 UN member state of Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro collectively deal with the problem of radical Albanian criminal separatism. Possibly add Greece in that as well. Surely the United States wont bomb 3, possibly 4 UN recognized states to appease rabid organ extracting savages. The police shooting of an alleged Albanian victim recently is a horrible crime, but it must be investigated, and or brought to a court of justice by the Macedonian law authorities, and not Albanian street gangs. With a worldwide population of about 8 million, and half of those outside the Balkans, the Albanians sure do claim a lot of land as their own on the Balkan peninsula. How in the world did they manage to get so much land, with such a small population? Not to mention, the Ottomans were around for a bit in the Balkans, and didn't really care for anyone but their own. I am baffled. Where did the Albanians come from, and how did they come to claim so much land? The biggest question mark is, they have pretty much zero proof, through artifacts, cave paintings, literature, structures, etc. Today, they try and usurp from other ethnicities, but their really is no proof as anything Albanian specific in the Balkans. A true mystery. Yet in places like Macedonia, where they are causing problems as we speak, they claim that they are not being represented on their land. All I can say is, show me the undisputed proof that any of this land in the Balkans is yours, Albanians, by fact of being the first inhabitants, and I may feel some sympathy - kind of like when the USA took most of the Southern states from Mexico - and I may start to feel some sympathy. We are neighbors with Greeks from thousand years and know them directly not only by romantic story books as you do. Why Albanians are so aggressive? I don't understand, they always have trouble with neighbors. In UK the worst criminals are Albanians from Kosovo. They treat women very violently.
Media close to the government are reporting daily about the incidents, stressing in the headlines that the victims were Macedonians, while Albanian language media are reporting exclusively about those incidents that targeted ethnic Albanians. - Wherever Albanians live, they only react to crimes against them, but ignore or worse, condone, crimes they commit against others. That is the Albanian way, and no one, but no one will ever have peace with these people.
The only way to deal with this problem is if the 3 UN member state of Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro collectively deal with the problem of radical Albanian criminal separatism. Possibly add Greece in that as well. Surely the United States wont bomb 3, possibly 4 UN recognized states to appease rabid organ extracting savages. Until the problem of Albanian separatism is not settled, prepare to see more drugs being funneled through the region, more sex slaves and more 66 year old seniors or 15 year old girls being beaten with baseball bats.

Not true, Demi, the news coming out of Macedonia is that Albanian soccer gangs are the major criminals in these recent attacks against innocent civilians. What would you like the media to do, say that the civilians deserved it? There may have been some minor isolated crimes committed against Albanians, it may have been Albanian on Albanian, because they feud amongst themselves, but it certainly does not warrant any kind of acts of retribution from Albanians. The police shooting of an alleged Albanian victim recently is a horrible crime, but it must be investigated, and or brought to a court of justice by the Macedonian law authorities, and not Albanian street gangs. When the government says it wants to stop ethnic flare-ups, what most Albanians hear is that the government is looking to arrest more young Albanian men because they are the cause of the problem - while the Slav Macedonian racists, fanatics, and nationalists are citizens fearful of their "blood thirsty, criminal" Albanian neighbours.

Since when is pos WW2 the starting point of recognition of crimes? Serbs may have been a part of the civil war in Bosnia that had massacres on all sides, given..without question. Yet, these "massacres" pale in comparison, are not even on the radar map or vicinity of the amount of horror and death, MASS MURDER provided by Nazi Germany and their closest and dearest allies...CROATIAN and ALBANIANS. Ari Gold and Winston are right. There will be no peace with albanians until albanians (these people!) get the basic human rights and representation that they deserve. Whilst albanians make up 30% of population of Macedonia the representation in state institution is way below that. (the population registration was conveniently cancelled when the numbers of albanians was too large for comfort).
