Migration itself is not a problem but if your neighbor allows you to dwell in his backyard, you do not have the right to claim it for yourself. Its a sure fire way to start a war and in that context, territorial boundaries have changed and always will. Your analogy, Krajina is a very poorly timed and insensitive example to all Serbs who were murdered and/or expelled with little or no prospect of returning to their homes. Lets face face it Dardan - with the help of the west, Albanians seem to be achieving the opposite and have pulled off a breathtaking con-job in Kosovo, the heart of Serbia. It's slowly happening in Macedonia - a gradual colonization, followed by a formal declaration of secession starting with Tetovo. I hope Macedonia stays intact but sadly, the reality on the ground says otherwise.

We'll be ok champ.. there are 20 000 macedonians in Tetovo city, we cant compare Kosovo with Tetovo, where certain places have 80 000 Albanians and 50 Serbs..
As for the villages bordering Albania and Kosovo which are 100% Albanian, by all means they should be able to join with Albania/kosovo.. why not?

Albanians make up about 33% of the population of Macedonia. Albanians have lived in this region (Skopje was an Albanian town) for thousands of years. Albanians are mistreated in Macedonia by the government, state agencies, and by the "majority" of the Slavic population - the ethnic slurs and chants at sports/cultural events are disgusting. When the government says it wants to stop ethnic flare-ups, what most Albanians hear is that the government is looking to arrest more young Albanian men because they are the cause of the problem - while the Slav Macedonian racists, fanatics, and nationalists are citizens fearful of their "blood thirsty, criminal" Albanian neighbours.

Macedonian news says most of these attackers are DPA members who have been receiving instructions from the SDSM to create incidents. "This 'thesis' is supported by ethnic Albanian NGOs who admitted just last month the SDSM has 'hired' them to create problems."
Also, the shooting by the Macedonian policeman had to do with the drug trade/trafficking going on in the area. The police had been cracking down and breaking up drug rings and the 4 Albanian men were sent to his house to intimidate him and the police in general.
The fact that 4 Albanian men who don't even live there on that street or neighborhood just gather in front of his house and start provoking him points to it being true that they were sent there. I mean, what business would they all have to gather right at that spot? They'd never been there before - it wasn't a gathering spot so it does look like they were following orders.

On the other hand, it has been Pristina media who deliberately were telling lies and/or came up with false and unfounded accusations about the drowned kids in 2004, thus created hate and were responsible for ethnic motivated crimes. 99 years ago the Bulgarian ancestors of the present day Macedonians and the local Albanians made the common Ohrid uprising. They held the Serb gendarmes at bay for more then a week. There were no quarrels among them then. But after WWII the Macedonians evolved into a separate people and became strongly associated with the (primly Serbian) Yugoslav subculture. It was the policy of confrontation and isolation of Milosevic that made the much desired alliance between Skopje and Belgrade impossibility. At the same time, the emotional desire to refute their Bulgarian roots gave rise to the so called “antiquization” - the claim that Macedonians are a descendents of the ancient Macedonian kingdom. That naturally worsened the conflict with Greece. Alienated from their kit and kin in Bulgaria and with their former occupiers turned allies the Serbs, and strongly confronted by the Greeks…. Macedonia may become an easy victim of their once allies – the Albanians.

So what do the Albanians do? go on a rampage, beat up the little girls.. and then when things get out of control, when the big boys come out to play the Albanians will cry foul and claim human rights abuses and complete innocence.. O and that they are Illyrians and slavs dont have the right to live in the Balkans..
Albanians will use any excuse to justify there racist cause, even when not in context..

Even if police did shot an albanian why does it have to be retaliated against an innocent girl? Isn't Macedonia a civil society that will deal with issues like that? I) The two killed albanians were not criminals. The "macedonian" "police officer" who killed them is a criminal.
II) The mentioned attacks on albanians isnt brought up as an excuse for retaliation. Its been brought up because the article fails to mention them and leaves a wrong impression. The ethnically motivated attacks by "macedonians" against albanians SPARKED the recent tensions. It doesnt justify what happened to the girl, but the coverage and articles should be fair, unbiased and the whole story should be told.

Believe or not, the Albanian painted mosque in Tetovo is really neat and the old gentleman who is taking care of it is a very nice gentleman. My experience in Tetovo was totally different than the human-form animals the article is about - and their friends who are regular on this site. I just hope he is not in danger now because he, too, could be attacked by a stray Tiranasaurus and his kidney stolen.

What is really perplexing is this..why is it that Albanians want to leave their own country to go to Serbia, Macedonia, Greece - anywhere but Albania itself?? OK, Albania is economically poor but has enjoyed relative peace both during and after the Balkan crisis with no outside threats or interference. Why does Albania not take some responsibility for its own people to provide the building blocks for a better future? I really don't know why every Albanian making comments on here are saying that it is Albanians being attacked. There are over 6 newspaper sources I have read, from international news sources, that have stated it is in fact Macedonians being attacked.

When we see inter ethnic incidents flare up in Macedonia, we often wander who is behind this because people of every ethnicity are not interested in destroying their common home called Macedonia. But, when we see clear disinformation, as in the case of this article, written by Tanjug and posted by B92, we cannot help but think that there is a larger game going on in the Balkans, the aim of which is to destabilize.
The information in this posting is INCORRECT and B92 must uphold the values and principles of unbiased and fair journalism OR it will be thrown in the dustbin of nationalist and hateful journalism. The information is clearly biased against the Albanian people who are the main victims of these cowardly attacks perpetrated by a black hand who's aim is to create instability in Macedonia.
Fist there was last week the shooting dead of two young Albanians by a Macedonian police officer for a parking spot. Then the latest incidents which this article refers start two nights ago when a big group of Macedonians - most of them apprehended and charged today by the police, stormed a bus carrying 15 Albanian children back from school, beating them with baseball bats. Most ended up in the hospital with three of them in critical condition.
Then last nigh an ALBANIAN - not Macedonian, girl was beaten in Tetovo by a group of Macedonian men. In Skopje the windows of Albanian shops were broken. There were also other minor incidents like the stoning of a bus by three Albanian children, without any physical harm to anyone.
It would be more appropriate for B92 to get the news directly from its correspondents or from Macedonian news, who are being more professional about helping both communities bring down the tension. This is within the power of professional journalism. Deliberate misinformation is a crime!

a 16-year-old Macedonian girl was attacked on the street in the town of Tetovo. A group of Albanian men first verbally attacked her and then tackled her to the ground and started kicking her.
Nothing unusual here, they do what they are used to do, beating up women and girls.

Nothing unusual here, they do what they are used to do, beating up women and girls.

What is really perplexing is this..why is it that Albanians want to leave their own country to go to Serbia, Macedonia, Greece - anywhere but Albania itself?? OK, Albania is economically poor but has enjoyed relative peace both during and after the Balkan crisis with no outside threats or interference. When we see inter ethnic incidents flare up in Macedonia, we often wander who is behind this because people of every ethnicity are not interested in destroying their common home called Macedonia. But, when we see clear disinformation, as in the case of this article, written by Tanjug and posted by B92, we cannot help but think that there is a larger game going on in the Balkans, the aim of which is to destabilize.
The information in this posting is INCORRECT and B92 must uphold the values and principles of unbiased and fair journalism OR it will be thrown in the dustbin of nationalist and hateful journalism. The information is clearly biased against the Albanian people who are the main victims of these cowardly attacks perpetrated by a black hand who's aim is to create instability in Macedonia.
Fist there was last week the shooting dead of two young Albanians by a Macedonian police officer for a parking spot. Then the latest incidents which this article refers start two nights ago when a big group of Macedonians - most of them apprehended and charged today by the police, stormed a bus carrying 15 Albanian children back from school, beating them with baseball bats. Most ended up in the hospital with three of them in critical condition.
Then last nigh an ALBANIAN - not Macedonian, girl was beaten in Tetovo by a group of Macedonian men. In Skopje the windows of Albanian shops were broken. There were also other minor incidents like the stoning of a bus by three Albanian children, without any physical harm to anyone.
It would be more appropriate for B92 to get the news directly from its correspondents or from Macedonian news, who are being more professional about helping both communities bring down the tension. This is within the power of professional journalism. Deliberate misinformation is a crime!

I really don't know why every Albanian making comments on here are saying that it is Albanians being attacked. There are over 6 newspaper sources I have read, from international news sources, that have stated it is in fact Macedonians being attacked.

In fact, B92 is surely a reliable source, and if these incidents happened like that, why should B92 not report it and tell the truth?
On the other hand, it has been Pristina media who deliberately were telling lies and/or came up with false and unfounded accusations about the drowned kids in 2004, thus created hate and were responsible for ethnic motivated crimes. These are the ones you should address, not B92. And I never read that the editors of these 'newspapers' were punished.

Believe or not, the Albanian painted mosque in Tetovo is really neat and the old gentleman who is taking care of it is a very nice gentleman. My experience in Tetovo was totally different than the human-form animals the article is about - and their friends who are regular on this site. I) The two killed albanians were not criminals. The "macedonian" "police officer" who killed them is a criminal.
II) The mentioned attacks on albanians isnt brought up as an excuse for retaliation. Its been brought up because the article fails to mention them and leaves a wrong impression. 99 years ago the Bulgarian ancestors of the present day Macedonians and the local Albanians made the common Ohrid uprising. They held the Serb gendarmes at bay for more then a week. There were no quarrels among them then. But after WWII the Macedonians evolved into a separate people and became strongly associated with the (primly Serbian) Yugoslav subculture. It was the policy of confrontation and isolation of Milosevic that made the much desired alliance between Skopje and Belgrade impossibility. At the same time, the emotional desire to refute their Bulgarian roots gave rise to the so called “antiquization” - the claim that Macedonians are a descendents of the ancient Macedonian kingdom. That naturally worsened the conflict with Greece. Alienated from their kit and kin in Bulgaria and with their former occupiers turned allies the Serbs, and strongly confronted by the Greeks…. Macedonia may become an easy victim of their once allies – the Albanians.

Albanians make up about 33% of the population of Macedonia. Albanians have lived in this region (Skopje was an Albanian town) for thousands of years. Albanians are mistreated in Macedonia by the government, state agencies, and by the "majority" of the Slavic population - the ethnic slurs and chants at sports/cultural events are disgusting. When the government says it wants to stop ethnic flare-ups, what most Albanians hear is that the government is looking to arrest more young Albanian men because they are the cause of the problem - while the Slav Macedonian racists, fanatics, and nationalists are citizens fearful of their "blood thirsty, criminal" Albanian neighbours.

Macedonian news says most of these attackers are DPA members who have been receiving instructions from the SDSM to create incidents. "This 'thesis' is supported by ethnic Albanian NGOs who admitted just last month the SDSM has 'hired' them to create problems."
Also, the shooting by the Macedonian policeman had to do with the drug trade/trafficking going on in the area. The police had been cracking down and breaking up drug rings and the 4 Albanian men were sent to his house to intimidate him and the police in general.
The fact that 4 Albanian men who don't even live there on that street or neighborhood just gather in front of his house and start provoking him points to it being true that they were sent there. I mean, what business would they all have to gather right at that spot? They'd never been there before - it wasn't a gathering spot so it does look like they were following orders.

Lets face face it Dardan - with the help of the west, Albanians seem to be achieving the opposite and have pulled off a breathtaking con-job in Kosovo, the heart of Serbia. It's slowly happening in Macedonia - a gradual colonization, followed by a formal declaration of secession starting with Tetovo. a 16-year-old Macedonian girl was attacked on the street in the town of Tetovo. A group of Albanian men first verbally attacked her and then tackled her to the ground and started kicking her.
Nothing unusual here, they do what they are used to do, beating up women and girls.

When we see inter ethnic incidents flare up in Macedonia, we often wander who is behind this because people of every ethnicity are not interested in destroying their common home called Macedonia. But, when we see clear disinformation, as in the case of this article, written by Tanjug and posted by B92, we cannot help but think that there is a larger game going on in the Balkans, the aim of which is to destabilize.
The information in this posting is INCORRECT and B92 must uphold the values and principles of unbiased and fair journalism OR it will be thrown in the dustbin of nationalist and hateful journalism. The information is clearly biased against the Albanian people who are the main victims of these cowardly attacks perpetrated by a black hand who's aim is to create instability in Macedonia.
Fist there was last week the shooting dead of two young Albanians by a Macedonian police officer for a parking spot. Then the latest incidents which this article refers start two nights ago when a big group of Macedonians - most of them apprehended and charged today by the police, stormed a bus carrying 15 Albanian children back from school, beating them with baseball bats. Most ended up in the hospital with three of them in critical condition.
Then last nigh an ALBANIAN - not Macedonian, girl was beaten in Tetovo by a group of Macedonian men. In Skopje the windows of Albanian shops were broken. There were also other minor incidents like the stoning of a bus by three Albanian children, without any physical harm to anyone.
It would be more appropriate for B92 to get the news directly from its correspondents or from Macedonian news, who are being more professional about helping both communities bring down the tension. This is within the power of professional journalism. Deliberate misinformation is a crime!

I really don't know why every Albanian making comments on here are saying that it is Albanians being attacked. There are over 6 newspaper sources I have read, from international news sources, that have stated it is in fact Macedonians being attacked.

On the other hand, it has been Pristina media who deliberately were telling lies and/or came up with false and unfounded accusations about the drowned kids in 2004, thus created hate and were responsible for ethnic motivated crimes. 99 years ago the Bulgarian ancestors of the present day Macedonians and the local Albanians made the common Ohrid uprising. They held the Serb gendarmes at bay for more then a week. There were no quarrels among them then. But after WWII the Macedonians evolved into a separate people and became strongly associated with the (primly Serbian) Yugoslav subculture. It was the policy of confrontation and isolation of Milosevic that made the much desired alliance between Skopje and Belgrade impossibility. At the same time, the emotional desire to refute their Bulgarian roots gave rise to the so called “antiquization” - the claim that Macedonians are a descendents of the ancient Macedonian kingdom. That naturally worsened the conflict with Greece. Alienated from their kit and kin in Bulgaria and with their former occupiers turned allies the Serbs, and strongly confronted by the Greeks…. Macedonia may become an easy victim of their once allies – the Albanians.

Believe or not, the Albanian painted mosque in Tetovo is really neat and the old gentleman who is taking care of it is a very nice gentleman. My experience in Tetovo was totally different than the human-form animals the article is about - and their friends who are regular on this site. Albanians make up about 33% of the population of Macedonia. Albanians have lived in this region (Skopje was an Albanian town) for thousands of years. Albanians are mistreated in Macedonia by the government, state agencies, and by the "majority" of the Slavic population - the ethnic slurs and chants at sports/cultural events are disgusting. When the government says it wants to stop ethnic flare-ups, what most Albanians hear is that the government is looking to arrest more young Albanian men because they are the cause of the problem - while the Slav Macedonian racists, fanatics, and nationalists are citizens fearful of their "blood thirsty, criminal" Albanian neighbours.

Its a sure fire way to start a war and in that context, territorial boundaries have changed and always will. Your analogy, Krajina is a very poorly timed and insensitive example to all Serbs who were murdered and/or expelled with little or no prospect of returning to their homes. Lets face face it Dardan - with the help of the west, Albanians seem to be achieving the opposite and have pulled off a breathtaking con-job in Kosovo, the heart of Serbia. It's slowly happening in Macedonia - a gradual colonization, followed by a formal declaration of secession starting with Tetovo. I hope Macedonia stays intact but sadly, the reality on the ground says otherwise.

Macedonian news says most of these attackers are DPA members who have been receiving instructions from the SDSM to create incidents. "This 'thesis' is supported by ethnic Albanian NGOs who admitted just last month the SDSM has 'hired' them to create problems."
Also, the shooting by the Macedonian policeman had to do with the drug trade/trafficking going on in the area. The police had been cracking down and breaking up drug rings and the 4 Albanian men were sent to his house to intimidate him and the police in general.
The fact that 4 Albanian men who don't even live there on that street or neighborhood just gather in front of his house and start provoking him points to it being true that they were sent there. I mean, what business would they all have to gather right at that spot? They'd never been there before - it wasn't a gathering spot so it does look like they were following orders.

Lets face face it Dardan - with the help of the west, Albanians seem to be achieving the opposite and have pulled off a breathtaking con-job in Kosovo, the heart of Serbia. It's slowly happening in Macedonia - a gradual colonization, followed by a formal declaration of secession starting with Tetovo. I hope Macedonia stays intact but sadly, the reality on the ground says otherwise.

We'll be ok champ.. there are 20 000 macedonians in Tetovo city, we cant compare Kosovo with Tetovo, where certain places have 80 000 Albanians and 50 Serbs..
As for the villages bordering Albania and Kosovo which are 100% Albanian, by all means they should be able to join with Albania/kosovo.. why not?

Why is it that it is the albanians in Macedonia who are against a census like it is the bosnian moslems in Bosnia too? Are they afraid of the facts or the lies that will be uncovered?

You mean ethnically cleansing and then turning a blind eye and behave like nothing happened ,I'm sorry to burst your bubble but your ex leaders lost Kosovo in a 'breathtaking' way .People remember crimes and cutting off territories seem the best way to forget .There are about 2000+ family with one of their relatives still missing (not even dead body found).Who is going to tell these families that it's going to get better ? you ?

I really cannot believe of how these macedonians can beat up kids? Someone is looking to start a war, Well my fellow Albanians you need to get organised and protect your kids against the evil, I don't know who's behind this but they should get the message that kids will not be touched by no one!!!!!! My GOD 21 century balkan people still with the same Mentality this sucks!!!
