Kosovo municipal officials arrested for corruption
The Kosovo police have arrested four officials of the municipality of Vučitrn under the supervision of EULEX and with support of an anti-corruption team.
I think you were attempting to say that you have Taliban values, and not European, right?

If you believe that crap you' re no better than a taliban, you're just as foolish. Like you they too believe the others are worthless. You and them are like coin that has the same image on both sides.
So they started arresting them, I just hope they go after big fishs, in Kosovo we have so many of them that deserve to be jailed for a long, long time.
I remember Kosova under Serbian rule. It was very peacful and with a booming economy wasn't it? Perhaps I have it wrong, but its not like Serbia is corruption free and you've been a country for over 200 years! Last I checked, it was ranked 86 on transperancy international.
p.s. no doubt we do need help and advise from the internationals, however, had the Serbs been in charge, there'd be war to go with corruption so I who live there, prefer it as it is now
If not for the internationals this would never happen. Kosovo is corrupt to the core. Trust me when I say that Kosovo under albanian domination will never ever get rid of corruption and backwardness.

I would say it is in what relation you are referring? Are you speaking of other Established Euorpean countries, they have a way to go.
Or are you speaking in relation to Serbia, then they are on the mark or maybe slightly ahead of the game.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that Serbia received this accelerated blessing from the EU because they deserved it, it is strictly their way of helping Serbia deal with the loss of Kosovo, nothing more.

Yes, it would be not worth a mention in a normal country. But in Kosovo it's a headline when KPS (of course under supervision of EULEX) dares to act against at least a few of the local politicians/mafia clans and performs some arrests. But as someone mentioned before, it's likely these guys will be released after 48hours, and they can continue doing their 'business' without being harassed by the police again.
Whats the big deal here? Kosova police did their jobs and arrested someone suspected of a crime. What they did is no different than Serbia finally arresting the president(Milosevic), chief of staff, major general like Mladic for war crimes and and a whole list of other Serbs for crimes against humanity. Just like your police arrest criminals, Kosovas police does the same. They did a stellar job in capturing the Serbian MUP agents! Good job Kosova! keep it up.
