A map of Serbia that does not include Kosovo, published on the European Union portal, is "a technical error", a source from the European Commission has said.

Serbia needs to take a bigger stance on this whole Kosovo situation. If a country has not accepted a piece of land to be independent, that is something to go to war over. Its illegal and i do not under stand it.

Why Jovan, what is it that you're going to do, Carry on what Sloba couldn't finish? Funny what your ilk has been reduced to (p.s. I do not mean all Serbs, only the mad raving nationalists like Jovan), issuing threats on the internet.

Jovan

to that albanian kid who´s displaying his inferiority complex with his nick-name: dear Tom King, sooner or later you will see that it is quite relevant what we Serbs think about it.

this is no threat, as I have written it before, it´s a promise. and you K-albanians should start thinking about what you will do, when Uncle Sam lets you down...

you know, others before you also thought they are smart, ...and ended with empty hands.

think it over, my dear, because Serbia is near...

actually, you live on our territory! =)

Pls say it ain't so!!!

Thatta boy; I'd like to meat the Web master that put such a beautiful map.

Finally Kosova is where it belongs, to Albanians and ON THE MAP.

Cheers my peeps.

Oh yes I said it.

How do i claim Kosovo belongs to Albanians? I don't, it belongs to those who live there and since 9/10 of those who live there happen to be Albanian the argument is laid to bed. as for the Illyrian thing, even if either proposition is true (Albanian, not Albanian) it has no relevance today. it really isn't hard to grasp what i'm writing Peggy. if you want to bring history into this, Kosova doesn't belong to either Serbs or Albanians since neither had dominion over it longer than others

Peggy

Peggy, I have not claimed Kosova is historically Albanian have I? Nor do I know Anglo-Saxons claiming that the US is Anglo-Saxon historically. Same for Australia. understand what you're reading next time you wish to take me to task. p.s. my point still stands and is proven HISTORICALLY.
(Nikolle, 8 March 2012 00:07)

Really? What happened to the Illyrian myth of being the only humans in that part of the world?
Ok, let's say you don't claim it. Then how do you claim Kosovo to belong to Albanians?

It doesn´t matter what some online-maps in the internet are showing, ...the one and only thing that really counts is international law. ...and taking this into account, the K-albanians have nothing to cheer about.

and that is good.
(Jovan, 7 March 2012 02:21)

Jovan,

The online map reflects the position of the EU, NATO, UN, USA, Japan, etc. If these international organizations and countries see Kosova as independent then your opinion is irrelevant. Why would Serbia wish to join the EU and NATO when they ignore the tantrums of your little Serbia. Serbia should get used to being marginalized if they wish to play with the big boys. Why has you big sister Russia been so quiet lately now that she got what she wanted from Serbia. Serbia sold their oil industry at Nish on the cheap to Russia with nothing to show for it. It must sting to be seduced and abandoned by your Slavic Orthodox brothers.

Somehow interesting that for Cyprus, the whole island is considered a member of the EU. But: "However, in the northern part of the island, in the areas in which the Government of Cyprus does not exercise effective control, EU legislation is suspended. "

I wonder if it will this be valid for Kosovo, too? Kosovo, as the area in which government of Serbia doesn't exercise effective control?

(Jovan, 7 March 2012 12:47)

Jovan - Milosevic, Karadzic, Seselj, Mladic and a whole bunch of other Serberian mental giants used to say the same things. And we see how things really worked out for them and their vision for Serbia's future. You are correct that Serbia didn't threaten the Albanians in 1999, they took action, they went in with their full military might.....and lost:) The Albanians too didn't make threats, but delivered on their promise to eject the Serbian army/police from Kosova which they did through many brilliant ways. Kosovar Albanians continue to carry on that tradition of kicking out Serbian police/military in Kosova with the recent capture of the MUP bandits!

good bye kosovo, good bye kosovo from in the map hahahahha technical error?????????hahahahahha???????
btw kosovo is NOT legally part of serbia because serbia has no control or sovereignty over kosovo thus its ilegall for serbs to enter kosovo, kosovo has borders, government, constitution and laws so stop saying "kosovo is legally part of serbia" IT IS NOT stop lying to yourselfs like B92 is lying to their citizens about the "technical error" the correct map is still up there and will be up there until the end of time

(Ahmet, 6 March 2012 19:55)

That's really the reality on the ground.

1. Serbia is now a EU candidate country, once it becomes an EU member, it will be without Kosovo.
2. "Kosovo under UN Security Council Resolution 1244" is listed as a potential candidate.

Note: It's not Kosovo* here (only UNSCR1244 and not UDI/ICJ).

But that's the correct wording, too because the Kosovo* name agreement is only valid for regional conferences where Kosovo* participates, and not meant for international/European usage.

PRO-SERBIA

It's not an error but a provocation by some elements in the EU. Kosovo is legally and historically part of Serbia. only Serbia and the UNSC will determine the province's future.

Hi all,

I think and believe Kosova and Serbia should let go of each other. Kosova has done it but Serbia is not trying to do so.

One very important message to the Serb people.

You guys can't fight for something you've lost when you gave it up in 1999. You can't ask for Kosova when we all know how nice you have treated the people of Kosova. Back in 1989 you made the mistake that brought the facts we're having today.

Try to keep Serbia as it is now peacefuly or you could lost it all.

If the European Union is able to admit that they made an error with Serbia’s map regarding its Province of Kosovo, then they should be honest enough to say that this is the subliminal withdrawing of support by all European Union Countries for the unilateral declaration of independence by the Albanians of Serbia’s Province of Kosovo.

It is one thing to announce Status Neutral Policy, but actions speak louder than words, and Germany needs to prove its credentials by because of its Anti-European Past.

Kosovo is gone, Tadic gave it up in negotiations with his German friends and they let him keep his job for a while longer by making it appear you're going to be allowed into the EU. Serbs had better face the fact that Kosovo has been taken from them by someone who can enforce the change. Of course it will end badly, as it always does in the Balkans, but never mind. The Germans (once again) think they have a solution. Soon you'll get loans you can't pay back and the EU will be overrun with Grateful Albanians spreading their "culture" far and wide. As an outsider I've assumed that Serbs wanted to survive. Lately I've had a look at your demographics. Since Serbs don't have children at a replacement rate it's obvious your fate it sealed. Time to integrate into more successful cultures, so maybe the EU isn't a bad deal for you after all. Time to learn German and English well and quit looking at the past which is the answer when you have no future.
(Frank, 6 March 2012 21:42)

Listen Frank,
You are by no means a modern day Nostradamus so stop speaking like one.

My Grandfather spent 11 years in Germany, 6 years in a concentration camp & 5 years in a displaced persons camp. He refused to learn German ;)

Time for us to integrate into more 'successful' cultures? Well I'm curious to know what success means for you? Most people think you measure success by finding happiness. Do you live in German? Do the robots look happy to you? Are the people friendly and cheery? They don't look to happy to me and they openly state at an official level that multiculturalism does NOT work. This makes it a little difficult to integrate wouldn't you say?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think i'd prefer to remain happy and enjoy the life in Serbia & feel the friendliness and communal spirit in the air, than procreate in a robotic-like environment.

E.U. is a lame cart with 27 wheels in 54 directions, some people think that if they add few wheels more than the cart will go faster, you will see how it will turn out. The other bad feature is, everyone wants to be a driver and believes he is OK with Forma-1. In the reality not qualified for a Zastava. I think, it's an updated version. If you enlarge - than you see a little "under 1244" writing beneath of "KOSOVO" and Pristina is written with "s", Neither "sh", not "š" is allowed. So it's obviously a compromise again, at the price being politically correct but not grammatically. Because it's either "Priština" or "Prishtinë" or "Prishtina" - never "Pristina". That's E.U. at it worst, prepare for that, in the future the name of the city is "Pristina", precisely as it is written, no "š", no "sh", just the way Mircea, the EU citizen does it envision.

BTW: looking at the other country names we can see "Poranešna Jugoslavenska Republika Makedonija" - so that "š" does exist, so does "Sh" (see "Shqipëria" nearby).

In Russian this kind of solution is called

"Ни в 3.14зду ни в Красную Армию".

I have four explanations for that, only one is IMO correct.

#1: E.U. hates Serbs, that's why the "under 1244" is so small and "s" is without the hat.
#2: E.U. hates Albanians, that's why "under 1244" is there and the "h" is missing from "Prishtina"
#3: There is world-wide free-masonic conspiring, led by Edita Telavivi and Baruch Tadiczewitz from a basement under the Dohány Street Synagogue
#4: No hate, no conspiring - they in E.U. are just merely IDIOTS. See the other proof

Well done to the DSS for picking this up. It hasn't been taken off the site, as B92 claims. You can see it here -> [link] (on the second last page).
(Zoran, 6 March 2012 16:27)

See the other proof

http://www.b92.net/eng/news/world-article.php?yyyy=2012&mm=03&dd=06&nav_id=79127

But E.U. is still the best thing ever made since sliced bread was invented.

(dani, 6 March 2012 18:40)

You missed the point. It's not a "new map of Serbia" or "Kosovo reality on the ground". It's a compromise made by idiots, read my comment below, why is that. Welcome to the E.U., the compromises made by idiots for what they assume are idiots. THIS is the sick reality on the ground, the rest are dreams never to materialize.

E.U. is a lame cart with 27 wheels in 54 directions, some people think that if they add few wheels more than the cart will go faster, you will see how it will turn out. The other bad feature is, everyone wants to be a driver and believes he is OK with Forma-1. In the reality not qualified for a Zastava. Just look at the map with better details and the recent E.U. promoting clip, what a shame.
