The Serbian police have announced that they launched a search operation for a missing 11-year-old boy in a town in southern Serbia, local media are reporting.

Do they have special helicopters for searching?

Maybe some helicopter with FLIR techonology or thermal imaging would help. However, this article doesn't make it clear if the police suspect a criminal element in the missing status or is the boy simply getting lost. Regardless, I'm sure the boy is very scared and so is his family. Hopefully they find him.
