1-''...If Greece defaulted (officially), the value of other government bonds in Spain and Italy and Portugal will plummet too...''
Yes,but my question you are avoiding is:Why default when you know very well that the price for Greece it will be Higher and it will serve as a catalyst of unpredictable events across Europe and further?
Just for Revenge against Germany and France??? What about ''Ta paketa Delor'' during nineties? We are talking about ''FREE''MONEY here.
So,are you willing to face the consequences and help Europe in the same time???A NO answer it will be utterly stupid and selfish from ur part.
2-''..Ottoman mentality...''

There is no such a thing as ''Ottoman Mentality'',because there is no such a thing as ''Ottoman Race''.Less than 5% of today Turkey is represented by Seljuks, which raises the question:Who are the Ottomans???What is the genetic make-up of Ottomans???Ironically and unfortunately it is OUR own Balkan mentality.Legacy of Byzantine times. It kills me to say,as i am myself Orthodox, but it is true. So,don't blamed it on ALBANIANS.We all are in the same boat.
3-''Accumulation of Debt''.It is a very broad question, but in general there is nothing wrong with Debt if monies are properly used, which is not the case with Greece.Although,i have to admit that i am a very conservative when it comes to debt.I would rather starve to death(and this is what i call Sacrifice),then taking a debt.
And my very last advice.Stop blaming Europe. The real problem is China and America, while Europe, the ''Sleeping beauty'',is doing nothing to address the real problems, but rather is Printing monies. You can accuse Europeans for their stupidity, but not as a threat to your very advanced Democracy.

I didn't expect you or any other Albanian to understand the issues involved with Greece or the EU because you live in your own little Ottoman mentality. Why do you think Greece wasn't allowed to default? Is it because the Germans fell all of sudden in love with the Greece and its people?Or is it to save Greece from financial ruin?Well, nothing of the sort.If Greece defaulted (officially), the value of other government bonds in Spain and Italy and Portugal will plummet too. A Greek default wouldn’t be important because of the size of the default (although French and German banks would stand to lose a fair bit). It would be important because it would begin the process of blowing up bank balance sheets all over Europe.Only last month the ECB printed 1.5 trillion euros out of the thin air to shore up EU banks balance sheets.

The International Swaps Derivatives Association (ISDA),the ECB and the EU are in league to save their financial skins, and the Greek rescue plans is about preventing other countries from realizing that default is an option. It’s about making it impossible for a country to default on its obligations.

All these bailouts are not about saving Greece. The only reason that a small and insignificant country could matter so much is that it matters in a way no one is willing to say. It’s about the subversion of sovereignty and democratic processes by removing decisions from people and giving them to trans-national financial elites. This is why they've removed the elected governments from Greece and Italy and replaced them with their pawns. It’s about preserving a global system that’s based on the accumulation of debt and growing government power through corruption.

In case of albanians it is rather cleptocratic than ottoman mentality which accounts for their stupid comments. After all turks living abroad usually work while albanians are rather involved in criminal activities. No wonder individual(car thives, pickpockets) as well as organized criminals(drug trafficers, leaders of prostitution rings) support corporate criminals against working people.

For once in your life,Leonidas, you Greeks have the chance to be fair with yourself, and yet again you still playing the game of ''Good'',''Innocent'' greeks Vs Europe.
Nobody ever gave you money by force.Stop hiding yourself behind the finger.Europe it is not a money making machine. It is, Rights and Obligations towards a common goal, with the main goal:PEACE.
Stop blaming others about your failures and stop using words nd notions like ''Banks'',''Hedge Funds'',''Corporate Kleptocracy''...etc.,because you create the idea of you being very smart, while you are more of a cheater and manipulator.Things are much less complicated. When i ask a loan from You,i have the Obligation to pay on time.If misuse ur money,i gamble with your money,or spend your money for fun,it is not your fault. It is mine. That simple.
And stop playing the advocate of Ireland,Italy,Spain and Portugal. They have their own governments to look after.

The end result will simply be a dictatorship forced on the whole of the eurozone in a similar way that has been forced on Italy and Greece at the moment.Unless people start waking up and take matters into their own hands this is where we are all heading.
(Leonidas, 6 March 2012 12:48)

Yeah but italians, spaniards, irish and greek are hot blooded people who know no mercy once they lose their temper.(in normal circumstances all of them are the most kind friendly and inteligent people no accident that they are the pillars of european culture). So the whole European Utopia experiment may easily end up with a burning European Parlament building. At least this is what I would bet on.

In the case of Greece, the costs of withdrawal would be much higher and would cause a domino effect within the zone, the EC president believes.

Greece is the financial guinea pig experiment Barosso because it's governed by lying and thieving politicians.Once the hedge fund vultures finish with Greece they will continue with Portugal,Ireland,Italy and Spain.Welcome to the world of corporate kleptocracy.

It is very interesting that that this who has not been Elected by the European Union Voters, should mention the year of 1945, as the time that Europe began having a Crisis.

There could be People who think that 1944 was also a year of Crisis for Europe, but it was only in 1945 that there was a Crisis for Adolf Hitler, because we know that he died that year.

Perhaps there is a Crisis for the some European Union Politicians who perhaps think that the WW 2 maps of Kosovo as part of Greater Albania may be jeopardized if they do not help Tadic and Company who are their Puppets.
