Congratulations,Preesident Putin from Serbia!

Russia will by 2020 reach a GDP per capita of 35000 dollars,it will be completely debt free,it will strengthen its military (780 bn dollars),it will have population growth again, and it will diversify its economy!
Together with China it will dump the dollar as the reserve currency which will seal the fate of the US Global Empire!

I hope they will sell us Serbs some 200 nukes in the process!

PS:When Westerners cry, moan, spit at something :be sure it will be the best thing happening for Russia!

So Mr.Putin, execute your plans fanatically and nobody can stop Russia, dogs bark, the caravan goes on!

Putins only "achievement" was to be in office when resource prices were sky rocketing. He didn't do anything to increase living standard in Russia, nor countered any of Russia's problems, even despite the surplus of money he has to his disposal unlike Yeltsin. In fact, the very same powerful people are pulling the strings which robbed Russia back in the 90s. Only those oligarchs who were a thorn in the eyes of the other oligarchs where removed. Gazprom, Lukoil, FSB and parts of the military rule this country. This leading class only shares the amount of wealth in order to keep that illusion. Russia's industry is a joke. Just take a close look in China, Brazil and India. Those countries really made progress. You can see a tremendous difference, though they share other and similar problems like Russia which would be a poor 3rd world country if it wouldn't have the luck of it's huge resources. But we all know that giving away raw material is nothing compared to deliver a product, especially a high tech product. That is why Russia eventually will fall behind.

China will take the leading role in Asia and gradually absorb all what you call the Far Eastern territories of Russia. And you know what? The political class in Russia will become even more rich and powerful by doing that, while the Russian diaspora (and their Serbian cheerleaders) will clap to that.

Congratulations to the FSB, for faking those elections so successfully. I'm sure that some special agents there will receive medal by the buckets.

I love the way elections in Russia are portrayed in the west. During Yeltsin’s time it was a democracy and freedom reigned, but with Putin it a dictatorship with electoral rigging.

Now let’s shine a light on US elections – how many times has a party other than Democrat or Republican won office in the last 160 years???????? And they call this democracy. The UK, France or any of the other so called democracies are no better.

I recall how the UK went on about giving democracy to Honk Kong, but what was never told was the fact for nearly 94 years of occupation that island was ruled by a British administrator with no say from the locals.

Vladimir Putin has won because his people see him as a patriot who brought Russia out of poverty and placed it back on the world stage. Watch how evens start to change with Vlad back at the helm, just watch.

Ask yourself how many western leaders today are respected let alone loved by their people. I for one say not one. Look at them, the Hungarian sausage in Paris trying to look statesman like but looks more like a caricature of Napoleon, Cameron a public school prefect who acts well above his station on the world stage and Obama, a man who was given the Nobel Prize for Peace just to get him started off on the right track and who failed miserably and made the Nobel Committee and their prize look like fools.

Well you could move to Russia - but perhaps that would entail you actually leave the comforts , freedoms and lifestyle you loathe so much and conitinuouslly rant about.

But then again your a hypernat - and we all know hypernats are all talk. You never really do anyhting you say.

Bravo, Mladen. You stated that very well. The Western world has not seen pure statesmen recently, they are all corporate sponsored, megalomaniacs, that think they are the saviors of the world, but in reality, if it wasn't for politics, would be total losers. Thank God we will never have to face the ones that actually lost the elections. Can you imagine a corporation with Obama, Merkel, Sarkozy, Cameron, well, the rest don't really matter, at the helm of a corporation? It would such a zoo of in-fighting, high heel wearing, deceitful posturing, that the company would be belly up in a week. The world has changed so much, and so has its agenda, that I appalled by our world's representation now. Just take a good look at who is in charge of the world today - it makes me want to leave, but where?

If the Yanks find it acceptable to cheat an election *cough* Florida, then why is it a shock to find "irregularities" in a Russian election?

Like you, Thaci's buddies didn't get this joke but took the words literally and thought: What's possible in Russia is possible in Kosovo, too :)
