Tadić expects date for accession talks by end of year

Serbian President Boris Tadić said in Belgrade on Friday that "Serbia expects to get a date for the start of EU accession talks by the end of the year.

All the action is on the Serbian side of B92, too bad some of you cannot understand. That is probably why the English side is slow, and somewhat ignored today - understandable. In any case, the Serbs do not seem to be all that thrilled with their new status as, "European candidates", personally, I find it insulting. I, as a Serb, am European, F-U if you think I am not. I have just as much right to this continent as any German, Frenchman, Brit, Dutchman, Austrian, the rest I like, so I will not name. Europe is my continent, there is no Balkan continent, so screw you EU if they think they own it. Let's face it, the EU is more about economics, than brotherhood, so who cares anyway? People that murdered my brothers not that long ago, and now come offering gifts, I will certainly be wary of.

You should really start to worry when they offer Kosova full independence to get into "Europe"...
