Members of a neighbouring police force that does not recognize the Kosovan republic and who actively engages in undermining the rule of law are arrested. That , dare I say, should be tremendous news for anyone who is half sane.
That includes Serbs. No wonder Kosovar Serbs were the ones to report them. Comes a stage in everyone's life when pathetic patriotic propaganda does not cut it any-more. It's time to keep it real, comrades.

I think whoever tries to exert force upon Serbs in southern Serbia will get an adequate answer.

every Albanian with a little bit of brains should know that.

Why do you need Serbia to recognize a secessionist state? Because it is the only state which will give you legitimacy....until then, Albanians in Kosovo remain illigitimate, and no foreign corporation will invest.
The more Albanians attack and kill Serbs in Kosovo, the longer Kosovo remains a lawless territory. Bankers like myself will never invest or promote corporate development.
(Suzi Bach, 27 February 2012 04:50)

I agree with you Suzi 100%.

However, unfortunately you have countries like Saudi Arabia who will export terrorism and fundamentalist islamic ideology to impoverished regions like Kosovo because they are filled with puppet like citizens who would give their own child up if they were offered the right $$$

They will go with time. It's inevitable that a race like that cannot survive with their unsustainable lifestyles.

Plus we double their ethnic population.

Thaci and his buddies in Pristina are under increased pressure from the extreme nationalist powers in Kosovo who oppose any agreements with Belgrade. So, as ususal, Thaci's 'solution' is to create more trouble and tension.
(Comm. Parrisson, 26 February 2012 17:00)

Why not if it has worked well enough so far and Thaci has been supported by the West?

Milosevic also once tried to consolidate power...
(aaayyy, 26 February 2012 19:38)

And he failed, but still people with a kindred spirit like Thaci didn't learn and think sending brutal 'special police' forces would solve any problem.

"...action of the Priština authorities near Gnjilane will impede the future dialogue with Belgrade, Cato Institute Vice President Ted Carpenter told Tanjug."

What dialogue is this guy talking about? Serbia has declared that will not recognise officially Kosovo independence. There should be no dialogue at all until Serbia changes its potition.

He qualified the operation as a proof of Priština's intention to consolidate its power in the entire territory of Kosovo.

“The Kosovo authorities...believe that the time has come to start spreading powers in the entire territory of Kosovo,” Carpenter said.

What is wrong with that. Local Serb leaders in northern Kosovo show now respect for the Serbian state and let's no talk about Kosovo authorities. Should the internation community give the "independence"?

Serbs in northern Kosovo should have the same rights enjoyed by Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja. These matters can be settled only after Serbia is forced to recognise officially Kosovo independence.

“The Kosovo authorities view the agreement reached in Brussels on Friday as a concession and proof of Belgrade's weakness, and therefore they believe that the time has come to start spreading powers in the entire territory of Kosovo,” Carpenter said.
