K. Albanian official: Kosovo in intl. organizations

Who cares what the damn wording is in front of Albanians. They will always be a disputed territory, and all this gibberish is for internal political consumption, as the EU has already given its directive to both sides, and now diplomats are just doing their sugar coating. Can you imagine what a thug like Thaci can contribute to regional prosperity? The EU has got to be laughing under their collars about that too.

Nobody wanted Kosovo to participate only 'as an observer', what a nonsense. Kosovo insisted to be represented as an independent 'Republic of Kosovo' like all other states. But since Kosovo's status is disputed, Kosovo will be represented with a footnote mentioning UN1244 and the ICJ ruling.

Well, okay, Kosovo might get the observer status in the UN, because Kosovo cannot become a regular member there, just like Palestine and other disputed territories.

Anyway, congratulations to the negotiators of both sides on finally reaching an agreement! Now I wonder how exactly the 'footnote text' might look like, and if on of the parties start to discuss the exact wording again

But Kosovo cannot become a member in all organizations that only accept 'real' countries (UN member states) and not some self-proclaimed ones.

That is like telling a cow that escaping from a slaughterhouse, you'll not be able to play with other cows, so going back to the slaughterhouse is the only option LOL
