Gendarmerie officers remove barricade

Pomaze Bog to all of my fellow Serbs....This is good to see! Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) Gendarmerie members (Serbian Police) under resolution 1244 have the right to come back in full force throughout the whole of Kosovo. This is a start....soon we will take full control of our southern province. Zivela Srbija and Kosovo/Metohija.

The Rudnica checkpoint is located in central Serbia.

That is not central Serbia, but rather southern tip of Serbia proper.
By the way; Good job for removing the barricade, but why did Serbia allowed thugs from Kosova to go on the other side of the border in another country to put up a barricade?
To me , it looks like Serbia is giving up on K-Serbs in northern Mitro. This is a good news, so we can take care of them from one.

I'm sure the removal of barricades is done for German consumption. They will be rebuilt after candidate status is given.

Are you pretending to be Serbian or do you not know the geography of your own country? This was a barricade on the Serbian side of the border not in Kosovo.
Also Serbian Police have NO rights to come into Kosovo under Resolution 1244, Serbia can request to have personnel to come into Kosovo for 4 non police or military functions but that is subject to approval of Kfor of which right now you have the same chance as Thaci becoming President of Serbia.

So here is how it works, Westerwelle goes to Belgrade and suddenly things get moving.

Yes, which seems to be part of the agreement reached with KFOR and EULEX last week. I don't see any Albanian involvement in this at all, and without the pepper spray and water cannons, I wonder why you're getting prematurely giddy about this :)

The Serbs got what they wanted – in fact everything they asked for, but if you see it as something else give me a timetable when your goat herders are going to “take care of them”.

Serbian security forces have re-established the "reality" of Serbian territorial integrity in Kosovo. Lets celebrate this intial achievment and the further integration of MUP, the Army & Serb customs in Kosovo as per the Rambouillet agreement & 1244.

I know exactly where that barricade was located. It was removed because agreements were reached that satisfy the Serbs. I was not talking about this particular barricade but all in general. In fact barricades on the other side of the administrative line have also been removed and not by force but by the Serbs themselves.
If you think that the Serbs removed them out of fear of the EU then you are really having yourself on. What is now cemented in EU minds is the referendum that completely rejects Thacis rule and the EU now have to deal with that fact. Kosovo is not independent and never will be.

What do you get with candidat Status nothing you will need to get date to start negotiations, you think Germany will take it lightly being double crossed by Serbia. Oh please this is done in the last moment as to have the people stay as calm as possible.

SJ the reason KFOR did not move them is because they were afraid of Kosovo Serbs would Kill them all. so they Decided to live and since Russia told NATO you touch my Kosovo Serbs I will nuke you. ( this is what you think in you phantasy world).

Nice that the Serbs themselves cleaned them up instead of other people having to work to do that...

So, at the end of the day, the only thing the barricades achieved was to make the winter difficult for N. Kosovo Serbs when it came to the freedom of movement. The situation never returned to pre-July 2011 and customs officials remained and will remain at the border crossings to collect customs taxes as mandated by UNMIK.
