Forget it Tadic! we will not win a seat as long as Merkel is calling the shots in the EU.

Serbia will survive without the EU.

Serbs like you live in the 9th century and 1990s respectivelly and they know nothing but cruelty.

That's a funny statement coming from a muslim. At least Serbs don't travel all the way to mecca to worship a meteor rock. By the way, I own a small piece of meteor rock that was given to me by an astronomy scientist. Are you going to declare a fatwa against me?

I am counting on the Germans to stall Serbia's candidacy so the Serbs will kick the ds out of power. If the Serbs are smart, they should accept being part of Russia in exchange for nuclear missiles to aim at the arrogant west.

I am truly amazed by the number of uneducated albanian trolls who come here daily to try to convince Serbs to recognize their fake, illegal, and immoral 'state'. I have news for you, it's not ever, and I mean ever, going to happen!! Kosovo is Serbia, and we have UN Resolution 1244, signed by your beloved yanks, and the Russian veto which guarantees it. That is reality. Deal with it.
Cheers!!

The EU and the U.S. government are partners in Crime. Both run by a globalists cabal who care nothing about the actual needs in there countries

Take a hike, Christine. Your own Prime Minister is not too keen on the EU, why would you wish it on Serbia, if you like the place? The EU is like rotting fish, first comes the smell, then the decaying carcass slowly starts to drop off inch by inch. We are definitely at the rotting fish smell now. I want to visit England, and Spain, and Italy, and Greece, and Germany, and etc., again, not the stinking EU conglomerate.

winston,

Are you saying that where the Serbs walk bring prosperity like Serbia itself?

Well to simplify things for you look at the former Yugoslavia and the wars conducted by.....I let you "guess", ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, Croatia and of course Kosovo....I can help you with video footage if you like there are tones and tones....

I have never said or written anything about Serbian people not because I do not know about them, I have even helped them when I could,

but you are not angels.

Every society has got "bad apples" that how I like to call them.

Despite the current problems in the EU I too hope Serbia will get candidate status. I am British but having Serbian friends and visited Serbia five times in recent years,I can see no other path to prosperity for Serbs other than to join the EU. I have lobbied William Hague, the Bristish Foreign Secretary,to support Serbia.

EA, the worst thing about Albania is that it is inhabited by Albanians, that is what will hold the country from advancing. Albanians are still ruled by clans, something they must get rid of, if they want to move on to modern times. Albanians are still somewhere in the 15th century, at best. As long as they think that the knife, or gun, or kidnapping and organ-harvesting, will resolve their issues, they are not going anywhere. Have a word with your folks, EA, you seem kind of Western.

Hey Ron,

Good to see you again here in B92 after a long time...) You can be funny...but hey do you really think that Albania is a third world country?

I am here to help you my friend. I assure you that I did not struggle to find it out...) I am not comparing it to USA though...The country has got good and bad things. Bad thing for example...bad political leaders...

I hope so too but for different reasons to you winston. Serbia political elite needs to do a health check first before people like you change heads..(EA) _ Sorry, EA, but I cannot decipher your Albanian version of English. I could care what your reasons are for Serbia not getting EU candidate status, I just do not want to see the Serbian people enslaved by the EU, like they have all the poor Eastern European nations. Is there one, one, that can say their country is doing well because of the EU club, NO! Whatever your Albanian reasons are, I could give a rat's behind. BTW, how about for representation of Albanians in regional meetings, "Kosovo, land over-populated by Albanians because Tito's open border policy, and Hoxha's Albanian enslavement of citizens policy"? I think ir has a nice ring.

Boris Tadic is saying this because he knows that chances are very high this time for Serbia to win candidature. So when it happens he can pretend to be surprised. Well played Tadic.

Ron

I hope Serbia will join EU very soon. Same for Albania...
But my Balkan-friends: Serbia is way, way, way ahead of Albania.
Again: I am fully neutral on this issue!

Albania really is like a third world country in Europe. Albania is decades from EU.
That having said: hope Albania will also join (as soon as possible).

winston

Why was the meeting postponed, did Edita miss the bus? Or, is it that the Albanians are in no hurry, and using a stall tactic, to try and make Serbia late for the EU candidacy dance? I say, keep stalling, Pristina, I hope we (Serbia) never gets candidate status to that decaying EU Union.
