I don't understand in which century Serbia is living moreover I am amazed to see how Serbian people are tolerating the same government for decades who has only brought suffering and misery upon its people. There is one fact here and that is Kosovo is Independent and its growing strong day by day meanwhile Serbia is growing weaker and weaker. The fact now is that Serbia has to accept and move on. You can't possibly think that Serbia will join EU without accepting Kosovo as an Independent Nation. It is sad but it looks like there are a lot of Milosevices alive in the Serbian government. Sad Sad Sad wake up Serbian people its not middle ages but the 21 century

Berk, Belgrade allowing Pristina to call itself independent is not a solution to the representation problem. Why can't you understand that? Kosovo is administered by UNSC Resolution 1244 - it is THE LAW OF THE LAND. I swear, you Albanians are like little children at times, you just keep huffing and puffing, and repeating the same thing over and over, but with no rationale. The UNSC can make Kosovo an independent state, Serbia cannot, it is against its constitution.

According to him, Serbia wants to reach an agreement and wants the provisional Priština authorities to be represented in the international meetings but in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and international documents “without a symbolic and essential attestation to Kosovo’s independence which does not exist”.

With other words: we want to solve the problem by not solving it.

Yeah, our Serbs are real comedians.

F.D. Roosewelt once said that it was impossible to deceive big quantities of people for a long period of time. Those were very wise words which the current Serbian elites can feel on their skins. The paradox is that one side of the talks is suspected to be a traitor of it’s own people while the other one enjoys full support of the those behind. In such circumstances I doubt that the Otporians can find another trick to cheat the Serbians. Especially now that the Russian envoy is watching after them under a microscope. Something tells me when the doors are closed the negotiators have only tactical contradictions of how to explain something to Serbs and how to shut up Russia to advocate the common people.

Let's wait and see, EA. But I strongly believe that Pristina will not be represented as Republic of, at regional meetings, simply because they are not a republic. They are not an independent state, they may be independent of Serbian authority, but not the UN's. They are administered under UNSC Resolution 1244. And until that Resolution is voided, only by the same UNSC, Kosovo is not an independent state. If it was, Kosovo Albanians would not be running around the world looking for countries to recognize them. Am I correct on that?

Kosovo must be represented as equal. If there is a Srpska Republic it should also be Republic of Kosovo. The issue should be settled once and for all as we will see another "Macedonia name" issue and Cyprus in EU. About footnotes? Will Serbia accept a footnote "Russia's derivative" or "Milloshevice's"
