As a prosecutor, I would think one would keep their mouth shut until they gather the evidence before presenting it to the presiding authority/court. Periodically commenting on an ongoing investigation with juvenile "I got some more scandalous stuff I found out, but I won't tell you what it is!" is ridiculous. He is treating this alleged crime as a tabloid case.

A country which committed the biggest war crimes in Europe since WWII, took part in ethnic cleansing, killing ten thousends of inncocent civilians, which is unable to reflect on his own past, unable to see that is guilty of unspeakable crimes, is pointing it's finger on others. You are right, the conduct of the serb prosecutor is unprofessional and begs the question why? Why engage in this kind of tabloid - rumor mill behavior. The answer is simply that there is no substance to this investigation and the only way to keep it alive is to fabricate "new evidence" "breakthrough" and other non-sense. Serbia believes that by keeping this story in the headlines they will benefit politically. Even the most casual of observers has by this time dismissed this organ story as an over blown, baseless accusation aimed at deflecting attention from Serbia's own dark past of death, destruction and ethinic cleansing.

There have been many estimates as to the what the death toll was during the various Serbian aggressions in the balkans. Opinion pieces are no more a valid source of information than this forum.
The crucial elements of the bombing were.
1.Milosevic had refused to abide by the previous UNSC resolutions and end the violence.
2.He had begun to escalate the violence because he knew his time was limited.
People like you who quote that it was "ONLY" I have never understood. How is 1800 if it were the true number, insignificant.
The bombing campaign was to save lives, not to avenge the dead. In that respect it was a successful operation, the problem was that they accepted less than a complete surrender to end the campaign, thus the lingering problems today.
The one thing true in your post is "God is watching" and I truly believe that those who dismiss life so readily will one day understand their misguidance.

I can't believe some of the comments here. not one person here has actually looked at this closely enough. People saying that Serbia was the bad guy in this war.. Fair enough Serbia did bad things but so did the other countries involved.. But hey if NATO is bombing there's no genocide charges against them for all the serbian civillians killed then. If we look at statistics of the Serbian population in Srebrenica you'll notice in the last 20 years to today, it has declined immensly. Kosovo population of Serbians have dropped ridiculously, there were 60% serbs to 40% albanians and since the war we all know thats dropped dramatically.
