all those who try to whitewash iranians, come forward and say that uncle Lenin in fact was a peaceful person with noble intentions...if the nation is blinded then they in their religious bigot and narrow-mindedness would cause mayhem upon others, who think they are more intelligent and prone to "negotiations". homo hominus lupus est - what has one to talk to a wolf? bu try to go and question what is written their book- you will be salughtered in halal fashion in the ame of (their) God. Religion should make people more tolerant but my experience from the ME tells me otherwise. so West - carry out a preemptive strike not to let another Hitler or Stalin happen again.

ardi, your reference to Iranians as being, "towel heads", is like my reference to Albanians as being "organ-harvestors", where do the insults end? OK, Iranians do wear scarves on their heads, and KLA Albanians did remove organs from their captives, but where does this name calling get us? If we are to have civil discussions going forward, we should let stereo-types, ethnic slurs, and ethnic branding go by the way side.

Look who is talking? I didn't know that overnight you became a borne again Christian!Look at your previous comments, and you will find your own dirty language labeling K-Albanians on daily bases as criminals, organ harvesters, thugs, Islamic terrorists, ,etc... You guys are so funny, that you don't believe your own words after while.

"Our strategy now is that if we feel our enemies want to endanger Iran's national interests, and want to decide to do that, we will act without waiting for their actions," deputy head of the armed forces Mohammad Hejazi was quoted as saying.

I don't think this towel head understand the meaning of military might. Two tomohak cruse missiles from US submarines will level that nuclear plant. Lets not even bother thinking about the capability of Israeli Air Force to hit different targets simultaneously ,and return safely to Nagavi Desert.

Ardi, thats fine... I'm sure the USA and their allies could do that. What you haven't thought about is what would/could Iran do in retaliation to such and attack? Does Iran have the right to defend itself from foreign military attack is the question? If yes, then assuming they ARE indeed nuclear, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that. I would HOPE that Iran is not suicidal and does not attempt to use a nuclear device against an enemy. However I'm sure a controlled nuclear TEST (similar to ones performed by India / Pakistan a few years back) might fill a few diapers by those who wish to take over their economies and resources by attacking and or installing puppet governments to reach their goal.

I’m no supporter of Iran, but if the weaponry was that good the US or Israel would have used them a long time ago. Just look at how successful the west has been in Iraq and Afghanistan with all those superior weapons. Its called the power of BS – say it loud enough and long enough and people start to believe it. Look at the wonderful M16s in Iraq; they were completely useless and would jam with a little sand in them. The US troops had to use AK47s in close quarter combat and some US soldiers openly praised them.

So far the only strategy the west has used is to weaken an opponent to such an extent that they can’t defend themselves and then attack. However, Iran is a different kettle of fish as it has won a proxy war against the US in Iraq and is now in the process of winning another in Afghanistan.

Iran went through an 8 year war with Iraq and that was when the US sided with Saddam Hussein and even gave him chemical weapons to use against the Kurds (remember Donald Rumsfeld greeting Saddam like a long lost friend?)

To use nuclear weapons would invite disaster on biblical proportions so count them out. Despite the stupidty of American military even they would not dare use them.

"Nuke the islamofahists and the world will be better place - they are even worse than sovies were" - (an european)
European, I believe you are a European like I am, and I'm in NYC. A question: what is the only nation in history that used nuclear bombs against an innocent civilian population, not against a warring military, that murdered well over a quarter of a million people? - that's right, the USA. The Soviets, as you mention, with all of their political huffing and puffing, never did. Nuclear weapons today are a means of determent, of protecting your national interests from nations that are also nuclear capable. Why should the USA, and its allies, be the ones that determines who posses nuclear weapons, and who does not. Who made the USA the world's nuclear policeman? I must have missed the referendum. In any case, Iran has the right to develop a nuclear nation, just like the USA and other now nuclear-capable nations did. I strongly believe that the Iranians are not suicidal, and would never launch a strike against their enemies, knowing quite well that it would also be their ultimate demise.
