The reason you don't understand much is because you think very little and you yap too much.
The West helped bring freedom to Kosovo! And, that is priceless!

Priceless means you can't put a price on it. Am I going to fast for you?
Me thinks you live in the dark ages!

If treating you Albanians like s… and killing your lot indiscriminately like the west did in 1999 is priceless then I am very backward and proud of it too. But you still have not told me what industries the west has relocated to their freedom loving allies?
Is Microsft or Apple there? Or perhaps GM or Ford or Opal or VW or Semiens??? No you say. You may want to rethink about who is fooling whom.

Silly Germans. If there is one thing everyone hates in Europe, it is german arrogance which they have been pushing to the extreme, particularly over the euro crisis of which they are a significant contributor. Only 30 years ago the its western neighbors all pitched in to pay of german debts which paved the way for current german success. Their recent behavior will not be forgotten. There will be a political price to pay for this in future and its neighbors will be less accommodating to their whims, especially within the EU.

The franco-german european duopoly is officially over, France relegated to a junior role. new alliances will be formed. Just like the rest of the world since the end of the Cold War, nothing is permanent.

Tito had the right idea - keep Russia at arms length, and take money from the West.

Nothing much has changed in that regard.

Until Regan decided otherwise and called in all loans, speeding the collapse of the SFRY.

Please list all the industry that has been relocated in Kosovo.

Me think you are another brainwashed individual living in the 1950s.

That is right Germany!!!

Russia & Serbia = 1

$$$ doesn't buy our friendship. Germany can keep giving Serbia money (also the US give lots of money to Serbia) but it doesn't change a thing. It's great for us.. but pretty silly for you.

Serbia and Russia will maintain a friendship forever, whilst Germany and Serbia will never be close.

Of course the Hungarians up north will be defending Germany, what more can we expect?

I think Germany is just jealous and perhaps a little afraid of what the future might bring

'Tito had the right idea - keep Russia at arms length, and take money from the West'

(Bob)

True, but Tito also did not sell Yugoslavia and its assets to either side.

You cannot compare Yugoslavia, a genuinely neutral nation, to the small client statelets (Serbia relatively less so) that have replaced it.

Many Serbs on this forum alone cling to Russia as a friend and savior. Not a dinar came from them while Kostunica was in power.

Yet, they continue to receive aid from the 'Evil West'.
Why doesn't Serbia ask for monetary help from Russia?
Does Russia not have the money or are they unwilling to give it to Serbia?

"Reacting to Maas's statement that Russia "did not give any financial assistance to Serbia" during DSS party leader Vojislav Koštunica's entire term as prime minister, and is "deliberately stalling the realization of a loan approved three years ago", Popović said that the DSS leader had never asked Russia for economic assistance, but for cooperation in the interest of both countries"

Sometimes I think that Serbs are just really bad at politics - (Danilo, 20 February 2012 15:42) Danilo, sometimes I think you are really bad at commenting. Do your Serb-hating crap somewhere else. This is a nothing story, not sure why B92 chose to post it but, in any case, who cares what happened during Kostunica's era? If the German minister is trying to say that Germany cares more about Serbia than the Russians, well that is a joke. The Germans have been, and remain, Serbia's biggest foe, and that includes Pristina.

Bob

What is this rubbish? Does it have any relevance to modern day Serbia?

holy play-pen politics.

A politician from a party that has less than 10% of the support of the people is writing a "njah njah, we don't need you; we have tougher friends", letter to the ambassador.

REALLY??!

wow.

Sometimes I think that Serbs are just really bad at politics
