Second,it is the right strategy Russians are choosing,investing in the military will do four things:


1) It will modernize the army and expand Russias hard power in regions far away from its borders exponentially by investing into the navy,new aircraft carriers,destroyers,guided missile cruisers etc.!

2) It will be a locomotive for other industries and will help diversyfying the Russian economy because millions of engineers will later switch to other,civil industries!

3) It will keep the money inside the Russian economy and boost it while other states will be in recession mode because of the European debt crisis!

4) It will strengthen the regions like the Far East,Siberia,Northern Caucasus and help to repopulate them with Russians because the biggest arms manufacturers are located in these regions!

Russia is practically debt free,its population is growing again since 2010 and it is on its way to become the energy monopolist in Europe while at the same time diveryfying away to China,India,Japan and South Korea!
All in all,Russia is the supercruiser on the Ocean and the Serb fisherboat needs to tie itself to it if it wants to survive the stormy weather!
