Speaking of the human rights situation in our beloved serbia (and actually throughout the balkans,) here's a new film that addresses the ubiquitous homophobia, which the belgrade regime promotes, of course...

Berk, Serbia does not want to rule ungrateful Albanians, be sure of that. But it will never compromise in anything that would directly, or indirectly give the Albanians in KiM a state of their own on Serbian territory. That is the gist of the matter, so cut the BS accusations of unwilling this, or unwilling that. Kosovo is Serbian land, don't you think the Albanians are the ones that should compromise?
(winston, 20 February 2012 15:05)

Mate, you on one hand say "Serbia does not want to rule ungrateful Albanians" and on the other hand say "Kosovo is Serbian land". It appears to me that some people here have not grasped yet the fact that Kosovo comes with 2M (ungrateful) Albanians...

i love this, ungrateful Albanians. Yes, how dare we don't appreciate being shot at, murdered, expelled brutally be discriminated it against. well winston deal with this, I, who live in Prishtina do not have to follow a SINGLE not a SINGLE law that comes from Serbia (even though according to your constitution I should).

As for this bit of news, well duh, its called politics. Kinda like Serbia lobbies to scale back recognition

"Politicians from Priština," he continued, "are now trying to create pressure in order for the Serbian delegation not to travel to Brussels for a new round of negotiations".

A nice piece of reverse psychology there. So if Priština doesn't want it, does that mean Serbians should do the opposite? I don't think so!

I hope we don't get candidate status also but since this is being made such a big deal of, just before elections, it will most likely lead to being the "big" election sweetener.

No candidate status for Serbia, now that would be nice!

You can do better than that Winston! Don't disappoint us now. I was beginning to think that you were in the lead for most useless, brainless and repetitive comments. You said " BTW, if you don't like the way things are in Kosovo, then go back to Albania, or to Sicily where you originally came from. Read some history on this - it's on Google for free." Well, I dont know what to say. You REALLY got me there. NOT! How's about you concern yourself with the origins of YOUR Serbian people. Serbs are Pure Russian babies given up for adoption mixed with a little Iranian with some African jungle blood and stray dog and gypsy. Not feeling very proud now are you Winston? I wouldn't be either with that kind of bloodline.

Metrod, you are the one that can keep dreaming of all the altered historical facts your thug rulers have been feeding you for hundreds of years. Just look at the crap Hoxha was ramming down your daddy's and mama's throats. Show me some proof that Albanians have been in the Balkans for as long as they claim, but real proof, not what Hash the organ-harvestor claims. Show me scripts, books, cave paintings, artifacts, anything. There is NONE, that is exclusively Albanian. Just saying something is yours, does not make it yours. Kind of like a silly make-believe place called "Kosova". You draw your own conclusions.

And for how many years now has Jeremic been traveling the world begging countries not to recognize Kosovo, to keep Kosovo out of the UN?

Berk.

Prishtina simply leverages it's possibilities and does the same what Serbia does, just on different platforms and with different countries. This is called politics.

Furthermore, there is not need for Prishtina to urge some countries to do anything. Experience tells us good enough that in EU imported problems don't get solved, but get conserved with no reasonable chance to solve them.

Belgrade does not want "compromise". They call it compromise and still want the the same, Kosovo's return into Serbia. This is neither a "compromise" nor is this ever going to happen, at least not in a peaceful way, if ever.

Une

pre 12 godina

Why do they act surprised at this? It is called politics and Prishtina is showing that it has teeth and can bite. A bit of their own medicine should do Serbia well
