shpetim, many of your countrymen always say that Serbs need to back to Russia, I just find it odd that your ancestors were neighbors as well.

Let us even say that is true what you're writting on here, so what? Do you think we should relocate to Azerbajan now?

Only if Albanians keep insisting that we relocate to Siberia. Fair?

Serbia has frustrated EU long enough....it is time to tell Serbia openly, recognise independence of officially or forget about EU and Kosovo alltogether and good luck in your choices.

EA, was it you who compose a letter instructing EU what to do?

O.K. Skifteri which is it are you albanian, illyrian or shqiptar. You see a Serb is a Serb, a Croat is a Croat, a Bularian is a Bulgarian they know their proud histories and origins, you guys seem to cling onto every civilizations or nation that suits your needs. Everyone knows that albanian origins are from the present day Azerbijan near the Caspian Sea. You guys need to keep better records!

If albanians are illyrians, then why do they call themselves albanians and not illyrians?
(Robert1899, 21 February 2012 00:31)

Illyrians consisted of many tribes, Albani was one of the tribes the jugoslavs faild to destroy/assimilate.

We could possibly start to call ourselvs Ilirian if we unite with Dardania

Serbia never said that they want to join the EU without Kosovo.
Albanians are very stupid thinking that if they were an independant state they would have no chance !

That's ok, the only way those euers can start fixing their economies is if they lay off the hish.

And not to forget that well known fact that Kosovo Albanians are Illyrians and lived there for 10,000 years!
(J.Oker, 20 February 2012 20:47)

That's not possible, since it's been already established that Serbs always inhabited Kosovo (i.e. since it's creation 5 billion years ago) LOL

The normal thing to do now for all the EU-haters from Serbia would be to thank the man, Hashim Thaci. He is helping your cause isn't he?

Thaci

I thank you for writing to the EU urging them not to accept Serbia as a candidate for the EU, WE DONT WANT IT EITHER!!

It's funny that the "authorities" in pristina sent a letter to ALL EU members. At least, 5 of them must be scratching their heads.
(Robert1899, 20 February 2012 13:56)

Actually, only one letter is required. --> Berlin
But for the sake of diplomacy, it is not bad to inform them all..

Cheers!

Why would Hashim Thaci get the nickname Hash, if there was no truth to it? Why would he be suspected of so many crimes, if there was no truth to it? Why would several world investigators, prosecutors, point to Thaci and his KLA of organ-harvesting if there was no truth to it? I never hear any of these things said of serbian politicians. Yes they are corrupt, but has anyone heard anything of a vile nature said of Tadic, as has been suspected of Thaci? Why, if there wasn't some truth to it?

Balkan Anthropologist

Seems to be more of a case of internal problems in Pristina than anything bad for Serbia. Thaci is under pressure by the US to be flexible and from Self-Determination to be rigid. He knows candidate status will be given to Serbia if an agreement is reached on Kosovo's name in international forums and without those "state symbols" status remains open. It's his career he's worried about. Personally, I don't know whether to laugh at Pristina's desperation to beg countries to keep Serbia out, or to thank them for working to keep them out of the EU since most Serbs don't want to get in in the first place :)

In reality, Kosovo is a disputed territory, so it makes sense to mention all these things. Maybe another footnote should be that 22 EU members recognized Kosovo, 5 did not, 3 UNSC permeanent members recognized Kosovo, 2 did not, the two countries with the most population (India and China) did not and so on and so on.

Did they threat with some more violence against EULEX members, or with increased drug 'imports' to the EU from Kosovo, or not to accept the donor money any more, or what else?
(J.Oker, 20 February 2012 10:22)

winston and others...

You keep on "criminaling" the Kosovo institutions and its leaders BUT you are talking to them and desperate "to get them on board" for your agenda.

Doesn't that make you accomplice in "their crimes"...? Talk senses boys or girls otherwise you will require a further healthcheck...Cheers!

"In the meantime, Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci said that the issue of the territory's representation in regional forums will be solved by "presenting Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, by mentioning its (unilateral) declaration of independence, the ICJ opinion, and UNSC Resolution 1422".

Funny. An independent and sovereign state doesn't need any mention of an UDI, and ICJ option, and a resolution UN1244 which says that a final solution for Kosovo has to be found.

Serbia urges certain UN members not to recognize Kosovo. Kosovo urges certain EU members to admit Serbia to EU (candidateship). This is the usual tit-for-tat. It is nothing to do with values, it is simply politics, and you Dacic just can't stand the echo.

J.Oker

pre 12 godina

Pristina is urging EU countries? The biggest joke of the day. Did they threat with some more violence against EULEX members, or with increased drug 'imports' to the EU from Kosovo, or not to accept the donor money any more, or what else?

"..Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci said that the issue of the territory's representation in regional forums will be solved by "presenting Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, by mentioning its (unilateral) declaration of independence, the ICJ opinion, and UNSC Resolution 1422".

That seem to be a compromise solution to satisfy Serbia...

But Borislav Stefanović stated that Belgrade finds unacceptable any solution that mentions the UDI, made in February 2008.

Back to square one....)))

Anyone can see how "compatible" the parties are when it comes to "the territorial integrity and sovereignity" of Kosovo.
