"France supports Serbian EU candidacy bid"

France will do all it can to help Serbia become cadidate for EU membership in late February, advisors to French President Nicolas Sarkozy have said.

'Sarkozy's advisors added that Serbia "is expected to do its part of the work in terms of further normalization of relations in the region".'

If Serbia does "its part," no extra pressure on Germany will be needed. If it doesn't, there's no promise from France. So where's the support?
