* "Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo. The latter declared independence on 17 February 2008, while Serbia claims it as part of its own sovereign territory as codified in UN Security Council Resolution 1244"

Ha, ha, ha... they will also have to agree on the font size of the footnote and the distance (50 cm, 1 m ?) it should be readable from without the use of binoculars. In the future, Kosovo and Serbia representatives will always have to seat close to each other so Serbia reps can read the footnote to make sure they are not being cheated LOL

On the agenda for the next round of talks:Preliminary discussions to agree that the sky is blue and grass is green.Consensus to be reached on how many legs a dog has.Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? Both sides are hoping to resolve at least one of these.

You can "resume" the dialogue all you want but concrete results have been hard to come by. In my opinion these talks are not necessary and have been a waste of time, energy, and taxpayer money.

These "talks" have only led to exacerbated tensions, violence and angry from both sides. There's no overall improvement to the situation. Refugees aren't returning to their homes and there's no freedom of movement for minorities within Kosovo.

I wonder if Kosovo's 'bribe minister' Paccolli already tried to 'lobby' a recognition in Serbia, since money is the only language the gangs in Pristina are speaking ;-)

If that is the language you like to follow let me tell you that "Serbia is the most uncorrupted country in the world, the only country that might be at a higher level of anticorruption is Russia of comrade Vladimir Putin"

Who are we kidding with this dialogue between Serbs and Albanians. The only dialogue that counts is the one in the Security Council between U.S., England, Russia and China. I wonder how much longer these countries will will play with the lives of the people of the balkans.

It will be another waste of time...until Serbia is made it clear that it MUST recognise officially Kosovo independence. That is the language Serbia understands. Cheers!

Albanian language media in Priština recently reported that the authorities in Priština "accepted a reference to Resolution 1244 " - on condition that a resolution adopted by the assembly in Priština in early 2008, unilaterally proclaiming Kosovo as independent, also be mentioned.

Great! Some progress! So it will be something like

"Kosovo*"

*under UN1244 and under UDI of 2008

(or maybe

*former Yugoslavian province under UN1244 and Republic under UDI as 2008

in case Pristina wants the word 'Republic' to be mentioned)
