Iran says it will "strike back" if attacked.

Is this newsworthy? It's only natural. It would be silly for any official to say anything else, and countries have the right to defend themselves when being attacked.

Both Iran and Israel are in the same region ie. Middle East. Israel has been suspected for a long time now of already possessing nuclear weapons whereas the Yankees themselves downplayed Iranian progress in the nuclear arena. Yet I don't see hysterics coming from the West about Israeli nukes the way they went ballistic over Iran's nuclear program. Sheer double standards if you ask me!

As an American myself I wish Iran luck. I no longer support this bloodthirsty war mongering nation of America. The USA is on the same path as Babylon and Rome and several other crumbling empires

What makes you think that dacic or kustunica or nikolic would make such move?. Serbs would do a big favour to Kosova of they kick tadic out of the office, so either way you lose again. First of all, just by the way you initiated your comment, "Hey Man," indicates the capacity of your intelligence, I would say elementary school drop out. Second, if it were not from the backing of the US, not because they love Albanians, far from it, you would be on the other side of the ocean. You are no match for Serbia and are nothing more than a third world impoverished country taking advantage of the situation.

Take notice Mr. Tadic how a country stands up for itself and defends its territory and integrity. If I recall, you reiterated a million times over that you will not go to war over Kosovo, thereby giving permission to the US to simply take it. I hope this upcoming election will see the last of you and your sellouts.

Well, action sure speaks louder than words to me ..... the Israelis may not have verbally threatened to wipe anyone off the map, but they have refused for decades to let the Palestinians form their own state on whatever remained of Palestine after Israel over the lion's share of pre-World War 2 Palestine. Israel in fact continued to occupy West Bank and Gaza to this day and has now and then imposed blockades over these areas ..... and recently we read about Israel preparing to attack Iranian targets .... these actions are not those of a peace loving, human rights abiding state and over which the West has remained largely mute compared with Iran -- so please spare me your hypocrisy!

Serbs would be crazy to go to war over Kosovo as the current strategy is doing an excellent job. It’s called stagnation to the point of explosion and civil unrest and all done by the Albanians themselves as 12 years of nothing churns over to 13.
