"The number of ISAF-caused civilian deaths decreased by nearly 17% from 2010 to 2011, the coalition force said in its December monthly report". Can you imagine, these murderers are actually proud of this fact? Give the US/EU the middle finger salute, and celebrate your nation's statehood, and remember, things will not be better for Serbs, bowing to the EU EUrocrats, but worse.

From the very beginning the majority of both Partizan and Chetnick resistance were Serbs, the leader of Partizan was half Croat half Slovenian Tito. Up to the end of the war Croats started changing sides.

Happy statehood day.And if theres anything we need to remember i think its that we need not be either ultra pro western or anti western.The fact is that we have deviated from the principals of our statehood.If people like Obradovic and Karadzic would see these skinheads as well as the likes of Tadic they would throw up on the spot.Instead of trying to become the progressive,democratic and prosperous state we should be we are letting these crooks get the better of us.But things will change one day.What we need today is pragmatism and reform in our economy.No more absolute statism or rampant neoliberalism.We need a good tax system,Education system,intergration system and so on.We can achieve these things.We went From an impoverished ottoman province to a modern western style nation state.Yes thats right " western" .For all those nationalists who dont like it im afraid thats the case,if we want to progress and survive we have to reform.Not bend over to the EU and privatise our economy but really reform.Russia would not be the major power it is today if Peter the great did not break with tradition.Neither would Prussia (Germany) ,France,Britain and others.This is not only for Serbia but for every south slavic nation.We can achieve great things,all we need to do is to stop believing so much in miracles or that someone will help us,and start believing in ourselves.

Nobody was bombed to the stone age. These strategic bombing with a few 100s of casualties are negligible. On the other hand, Albanians in Kosovo might not live in the stone age, but with their clans and the pre-statehood clan loyalty they fit better into the medieval than into a modern European democracy.

Actually Tito was often given false credit for attacks the Chetniks did on the Germans/Nazi's and their supplies. War archives from Britain and the U.S. revealed this. There was a British Communist mole involved in telling lies against the Serb Chetniks/Royalists and giving false credit to Tito.
The U.S. operatives who went behind enemy lines witnessed German attacks against Mihailovic and his troops fighting back.
And it was the Chetniks involved in one of the greatest rescues of Allied pilot, not Tito.
The Serbs hid and fed the American and other Allied pilots who'd been shot down by the Germans and then cleared the land and built a runway for their rescue.
Ironically many of those pilots were bombing Serbian civilians at the request of Tito - Tito was even having them bomb Serbian churches on Easter to destroy their religion.
After the war Tito and the Communist government murdered and jailed many hundreds of thousands of Serbian anti-communists.

Lets be honest aaayyy. It was the "Yugoslavian" partizans that put up resistance and not "Serbians". Tito(the leader) was Croatian. Yugoslav's comprised of Croatians, Bosnians, Slovenians, Macedonians, Montenegrins. Both Muslims, Christians and Orthodox participated. If you want to talk about "Serbian Resistence" talk about the Chetniks who were defeated. Not only were the Chetniks defeated, but they col;laborated with the Nazi's against the Partizans. The Chetniks had no honor whatsoever, they only wanted to be the supreme leaders even if it meant collaborating with the Germans against the Partizans. I do agree with you that Russia contributed greatly to the war effort. There's no denying that. However, Serbian "resistance" is not what you make it out to be. If the "true Serbians" ie "Chetniks" successfully battled then they would have been the ones to come out on top but they didn't. Where is Draza Mihailovic? What happened to the Chetniks? I rest my case.

Not true, It was Russia, not "The West" which beat the Nazis (Though credit to America, Britain & The others who did fight them), the Soviet Union lost Anything up to 20 Million people, as opposed to the few hundred thousand from Britain & America, likewise, without the Belgrade Coup in 1941, Hitler would never have delayed his attack on the USSR & probably would of Moscow without running into the Russian Winter

As for the Yugoslav partisans I can say they were the eventual victors as they compromised all south slavic resistance:Serbs,Croats and the rest of the lot.All sides were however oppertunistic.Both the partisans and the Chetniks at times colluded with the Germans if needed.As for the Albanian side it was the same story.The factions themselves were ideologically and ethnically mixed,with all committing attrocities to varying degrees.You had some Muslims in the Chetnik force which compromised about 15 percent of the resistance army.The Chetniks were even officially known as the Yugoslav army of the Fatherland,(then again names are just names).According to Tito the national composition of the Partisan army in May 1944 was 44% Serb, 30% Croat, 10% Slovene, 5% Montenegrin, 2.5% Macedonian, and 2.5% Bosnian Muslim.

Im afraid that reality was a bit different than how you see it.
