"I for one completely disagree with holding this referendum...this is a unilateral action. "
(KOSO, 12 February 2012 16:35)

Good that now even (at least some) Kosovo Albanians admit that unilateral actions are not helpful for reaching a goal and finding a solution. And always keep in mind what the UDI of Kosovo was like.

"Commission expects KFOR and Kosovo police to provide safety to all citizens on February 14 and 15, just like any other day"

So, the "Commission" confirms Kosovo Police is providing safety to all citizens every day (just like any other day)...

hahahhaaa... Thank you for saying it. This is very self explanatory, aspecially for the ones that are claiming Serbs are not protected in Kosovo...

I cast my resolute cyber "NO" vote in the N. KiM referendum. No real Serb in his right mind wants anything to do with an Albanian government. Especially one that was built on murder, terrorism, organ-harvesting, human-trafficking, drugs trade, and other favorite income producing ventures of the KLA. Get out and stay out of KiM, Pristina. You Albanians here know I am correct in my statement.

"Do you accept the institutions of the so-called Republic of Kosovo?”.

I for one completely disagree with holding this referendum...this is a unilateral action. Biting the hands that feed you is not a wise decision. Many institutions in the north receive double pay from Belgrade and then turn around and receive their wages from Pristina. Provoking both Pristina and Belgrade will come back to bite back these "local leaders" and "businessmen".
(KOSO, 12 February 2012 16:35)

Biting the hand that feeds you? Which hand is that? Pristina does not have a cracker it can call it owns except for EU funds.

NO ONE will touch the Serbs, although the US/EU would dearly love to roll them over, but there is little birdy that says Nyet and the miserable west has to keep quiet.

You really need to read the situation on the ground better than making these statements.

"Citizens will vote at 82 polling stations and will be able to vote “yes” or “no” to the question “Do you accept the institutions of the so-called Republic of Kosovo?”"

Hmmm, we've been told that the so-called Republic of Kosovo is a dream-state existing only in the dreams of Kosovo Albanians ! But now it appears it is very much real as certified by this referendum (regardless of whether the result of the vote is "Yes" or "No").

I'm assuming, of course, that those who organized the referendum are sane and are not hallucinating.
(icj1, 12 February 2012 17:43)

As English is your second language, the operative word is so called Republic of Kosovo; you know so called or self proclaimed.

I'm against the referendum because it alienates Serbs in occupied Kosovo (below the Ibar)..so I don't want it to happen, but at the same time what is clear is that not KFOR not the Albanians can force the Serbs in Northern Kosovo to do anything they don't want to do.

Albanians tried in July of 2011 and were humiliated, KFOR tried after the Albanians failed miserably and they cannot force the Serbs' hand over this..and its winter so if KFOR is planning on harming the civilian population they better do it now because soon as its warmer there will be more numbers out there.

Answer to question: NO!!!

Koso,

What does UDI stand for? Which is more unilateral: an UDI or a referendum? Who is feeding "Kosova"? It is certainly not the Albanians in Kosovo. Chopping off the hand that wants to kill you is the best thing anybody can do. The Serbs in Kosovo will tell the Albanians once and for all and very clearly what they feel, think, and want and there is nothing you or any Albanian can do about it.

Are you against unilateral actions? What about UDI and Thaci's attempt to send Albanian police to the North?

Prishtina shouldn't pay such ungrateful people as KSerbs, let they belong to Serbia and are paid by Serbia only.
