“If you want to call the fact that things have not returned back to the way that they were BEFORE ROSU went to the borders "not good" then I hope the there are more "not good" outcomes. “

I am in desperate need of a translation here.

“Basically if Serbia gets EU candidate status it means that they have made enough "progress" aka "we've given in on many issues to the Albanians that we said we wouldn't".

The Albanians don't care if you do or don't join the EU, we just care that these technical issues are resolved with Kosova being the ones benefitting from the agreements. As long as you're good little children Serbia...you too might be able to join the EU. If it means selling your souls to the Albanians then go right ahead! We welcome it:) Historically since 1998 we have seen the Serbs give up more and more every year. What will you be giving up tomorrow or next week is the REAL question? :)”

This has nothing to do with progress at all. This has more to do with trying to give the Tadic government a chance at holding power. To say no again, and I pray they do exactly that, would completely scuttle EU influence in that region.

The Albanians are not are of no consequence – they are only mouths to feed and cannon fodder if necessary. Regardless of the talks between Belgrade and Pristina, most of the agreements are not being implemented by Belgrade anyway. Even your regime complains about that fact.

A condition the EU wants to see fulfilled is the free movement of your Albanians throughout Serbia to search for work so you see who is in the driving seat. The EU do not want them looking for work in germany or Holland etc as they are full of wonders seeking work. This is a fact not a wish.

Oh by the way, last week we saw Hilary Clinton flap her gums in Sofia and demand that the Bulgarians rescind their agreement to allow the South stream pipeline and they just ignored her. This winter saw gas delivery reduced due to weather conditions; now can you imagine once the pipeline is finished what influence Russia will have all over Europe? Goodbye Albanians from Kosovo.

Now what does that mean for the Albanians? Whichever way you look at it, it’s not good.

I can guarantee that Serbia will gain candidate status in March. It’s so simple even a child can see that fact. If they do not give candidate status then the whole thing falls flat on its face and Serbia will never join.
The referendum will have no affect on the decision as this is the EU’s last chance to give some credibility to Tadic. Personally, I hope Serbia never joins but these are the facts.
The EU is desperate and they will offer Serbia a place. Now what does that mean for the Albanians? Whichever way you look at it, it’s not good.

"I'd like to see or hear the actual transcript in which he says that the resolution should be mentioned in all documents that apply to Kosova within the EU. Where is it?
(USA United States of Albania, 11 February 2012 16:06)

I don't know about all document, but for a start, for example check out the official website of the European commission http://ec.europa.eu/enlargement/potential-candidates/kosovo/index_en.htm

or for example this: http://www.eeas.europa.eu/what_we_do/index_en.htm

Feel free to find more or simply face it: Kosovo (under UN1244) is the correct name to be officially used.

Serbia does not have the remotest chance of gaining EU candidate status in March, regardless of whether or not they agree to recognize Kosova.

I'd like to see or hear the actual transcript in which he says that the resolution should be mentioned in all documents that apply to Kosova within the EU. Where is it? I've noticed that when researching what B92 has claimed to be the actual words of some politicians that they in fact never said what was written as "their words". Try finding this politician making these claims elsewhere on the internet and you will find no such sources.

“France considers it important for a solution to be found,” the ambassador said and added that Resolution 1244 did not constitute a problem because France had decided that the resolution should be mentioned in all documents that apply to Kosovo within the EU.

Makes sense. So the only room for discussion is if UN1244 is present in a footnote only or in brackets right behind the name 'Kosovo'.

It is always decent of the French when they stand up to the Germans. One might even call it noble. I wish Belgrade had been a bit more clever about these referenda and saw them in the light of potentially creating rifts among EU members, further exposing the German bully and solidifying Serb resistance. The RS sucessfully used this tactic last year.

What is there to discuss between Belgrade and the Albanians? Whenever they care to be at a regional meeting, they will be represented by the UN authority. Geez, all this big deal and bickering over nothing.
