You've got that right and that's the way we like it. If Serbia or anyone else would like to try and stop us, then be our guest. However, don't go crying to the UN if you get your nose bloodied again.

Listen you Albanian wanna be American. Your Yanks got their noses bloodied in every battle they have entered since WW2.
The Taliban is kicking their arse in Afghanistan. Iraq is a lost cause so don't try to tell us just how mighty your master is. We can see for ourselves.

If any of this happened then I am sure Ms DelPonte would've mentioned it.
This is just your imagination working overtime.
Besides, you have the mighty US of A to take care of any wrong doing by the Serbs. If they haven't mentioned it then you should ask them why not.
They have mentioned almost everything else so why not this?
You have them to fight your battles so leave Russia and Serbia to fight their own.

Let's talk debts...

1. The life savings funds of Kosovo Albanians that have vanished from Serbian banks in 1999 must be returned.

2. Pension fund contributions of all the Kosovo Albanians that worked in Yugoslavia from the end of WWII until 1999 must be returned.

3. 1800 bodies of Kosovo Albanians that are still missing must be returned.

4. The stolen cadastral books must be returned from Kosovo to Serbia.

5. The stolen birth registry books must be returned from Kosovo to Serbia.

and so on...

Then, we can talk KTA, and war reparations.

think about it.

Unfortunately for Mr Jeremic, it is a black and white deal. If UNMIK has turned over responsibilities to the Privatization Agency as per mandate of 1244 they will get the funds, if they haven't then the funds were never in danger of being turned over.
It would take a full vote of the UNSC to override any provision of 1244 and that will not happen if UNMIK has turned over control to the Pristina authorities.

I am not familiar with this particular agency but do not have to be, the directions of 1244 are clear that once these organizations are formed to the satisfaction of UNMIK then the authority is turned over which would include control of any monies.

Of course as a dues paying member of the UN Serbia does have concerns how its money is spent. I will personally refund the 50 cents that is probably the Serbian contribution.

I'm sure the Tanjug correspondent will make that happen :)

To ill wish on others is a bit sadistic. Jeremic has been very hardworking till now. He might gain power in UN soon, but he should be careful to use that opportunity for good, no matter how smart it makes him feel, for the moment. It's a serious position. You have to be a resilient leader and above others even in difficult and emergency situations. I believe in natural justice.

Serbs need to make up their minds. They always run their mouths about how Kosova cannot be a country because they are not UN members....thats their biggest defence. However, you like to degrade and bad mouth that very same organization when you feel that they are not working for your best interest (investigating made up allegations of organ surgery)etc. You call the organization a "joke" etc. However, its a good organization as long as they do not allow the great country of Kosova be a member? Right? Show some consistency with who you support and dont. If the UN is so bad, then leave the UN and shut your mouths.

The world's powers play this once noble institution like a fiddle for their own political gain - and if the UN does not agree with the will of some world powers, like in the case of bombing Serbia, entering Iraq, etc., the world powers simply ignore this institution, and the will of its members. Sounds like, America does whatever it feels like, with no consequences.

Of course you forgot to mention the invasion of Georgia, or the !st invasion of Afghanistan by some UN powers without UN approval.
You sound like the many that are preparing for the investigation to come up empty handed with your pre made accusations.(Basically why no investigation would be suitable)
I like in the article where Jeremic mentions he cannot understand why they would be so secretive on such an important investigation.
Of course they should be like Serbia, Russia, and Marty himself and make claims of having evidence and then never sharing that with anyone.

The next phase for Serbia should be for the war crimes prosecutor to stand before the press with a folder in his hand and say "Inside this file we have irrefutable evidence of the organ harvesting and the involvement of high ranking Kosovo officials." And then of course refuse to allow anyone else to see the file for "spoiling the investigation" or "protection of witnesses"

Just for the record, only two of the states mentioned at the end of the article are new Security Council members (Pakistan and Morocco). Brazil left the Council at the end of its 2010-11 term; Botswana left the Council in 1996. See here for useful resource: http://whatsinblue.org/2011/11/finnish-workshop-for-new-members.php

No progress will be made in the KLA's and Thaci's organ-harvesting activities in KiM/Albania, until someone else but the USA is in charge of the investigation. Can anyone here honestly say that the USA does not have an interest in keeping these criminal activities quiet? If Thaci, and his KLA warriors, are in deed proven to be criminals of the lowest order, can you imagine what a hit that would be to the US State Dept., Germany, France, etc.? They will not allow that to happen. That is the unfortunate and ugly side of world politics and diplomacy. We ask why have a UN then, good question!
