Merkel already decided not to give Serbia (as a country) candidate status because some INDIVIDUALS shot a few worthless KFOR soldiers from Germany/Austria.
How can she block something concerning the whole country because of a few individuals?
Next thing we know someone will throw a snowball at a German and it will act as a new reason not to let Serbia into the EU.

I witnessed a report recently which stated that the single largest import to German troops serving in iraq and afghanistan was Beer. Beer! Not bullits or food or anything else. Germans love beer. Serbians love beer. Lets work from that. Its time to take the drama off the tap-and lert the beer flow!

Currenly the failed freedom fighter's tongue is everywhere.Due to his "brave" revolution and "extremly good" communicational skillls of his lackies such as Szargyártó and Lézer Lázár I had sometimes heavy losses(rarely gains expecting their stupidities) on stock exchange and forex.Back in 80s I spent hours talking politics with Orbán in Kisrabló pub after our indoor soccer matches in Ménesi street.If we met again he would have to listen to a lot of critics.I woukld be definately more critical with him than I was with commies in 80s.

just because they don't say publicly what their stance is does not mean the Germans are on the fence. Nothing will change 28 Feb, or in 2025. But go ahead, keep trying, your historical enemies the Germans love this. This is a typical German dance of self love. They enjoy having the power to not let you know even more than keeping you out. It's interesting that Serbs can't understand that the EU is about to fall apart, or at best, limp along for a few years. This EU fixation, both for and against, is counter productive. You need to fix your own internal problems. No one from the outside can do that for Serbia. The miracle you seek isn't rational. In fact if you become viable as a country without the EU the Kosovo problem with take care of itself. Kosovo will never be viable and letting them into the EU will make it like Greece, only without Greece's charm.

True to some extent and maybe there is a lesson for Serbia in this. As long as they are mostly subservient Germany gives France some autonomy within the EU and allows French leaders their Gallic Bluster as the distant number two economy in the EU.
