Speaker praises parliament's role in EU integrations

Parliament Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović said on Monday that the Serbian parliament was a "champion of EU integrations".

Finally some positive feed from parliament. The best news is that we also benefit from preferential trade with Russia where goods from other EU countries are subject to as much as 25% duty imported there and while goods produced in Serbia are subject to only 1%. this is our first competitive advantage.
The real challenge is how to become competitive in a global economy which has stagnated.
Serbia's chances are in food production because this is one area which will see continued growth for the foreseeable future and Serbia has potential uncapped resources waiting to be exploited. The EU can and will support us in this with funds, education and building necessary infrastructure.
