Have you ever heard of a word CAPITULATION? That's what happened with Serbia back in 1999 in Kumanovo. The more important question, is: Do you know what happens to those who violate capitulation terms? You may not want to try it.

The danger of this referendum is that it tacitly acknowledges the existence of some kind of legitimate government in Pristina. If the referendum and the discussion around it do not in any way pose any legitimacy for Albanian authority for anyone in the province outside of Belgrade, then there can be no harm.

Awww whats wrong Bogdani poo? I thought that the Serbs of the north are entitled to do what they want? You said so yourself back when the border incident occurred in July. Obviously you cant make up your mind. You tell the West that they have a right to do what they want and then you turn around and tell them no. Yes, No, Yes, No,Yes, No, Yes, No. Make up your mind you imbecile. This lack of agreement and unity amongst you Serbs just makes it so much easier for the Albanians and Europe and the West to divide and conquer you. PERFECT!! Keep doing what you're doping Bogdani.

"Squeezing out UN Resolution 1244 is unacceptable for us. I hope the EU mediator will apply pressure on Priština to accept a compromise that would mark Kosovo with a footnote that would be neutral in its approach," the minister concluded. Grow a pair, Bogdanovic, and say "We INSIST that the EU mediator apply pressure on Pristina", and not "I hope", like a little school girl. I am sick and tired of these girly boys in the DS government bowing to the EUrocrats's every whim, so as not to offend them.

The people of northern Kosovo have the right to choose which country they want to live in. They are Serbian citizens and there is no reason why they cannot remain in Serbia. The Serbian government has been selling out its 55,000 citizens. I encourage voters in Kosovo, and indeed in all of Serbia, to punish the ruling coalition for failing to protect the interests of its own citizens by voting for the SNS, DSS or SRS in this year's election.

Kosova security forces wich will be formed into an army next year will defend the borders of Kosova if Serbia chooses to attack (hypothetical speaking). Maybee Serbia has an stronger army at the time being but Kosova got powerful allies as US,UK Germany and Turkey wich will back up Kosova. So what you think that Serbia has some legally right to attack Kosova with it's army is nonsens. Serbia will lose that ''war'' and will lose everything it has worked for. It will be send back to stoneage.

The only thing Serbia can do is to recognize Kosova and move forward. Everything else is a waste of time. Kosova independence will not change!

This Kumonovo agreement is illegal - and is different from the treaties at the end of the world wars, because Serbia was not at war with any other nation in Kosovo, whereas Germany and Japan took on other countries.

Without the this treaty and 1244 the invading occupiers are there illegally.

Serbia on the other hand has every right still to defend its territory.

The excuse for the invasion and bombing was based on humanitarian issues. If Serbia promises to keep and is sent to keep clean on these issues, and derogated the treaty, plus put 1244 as past business (effectively derogating that too) it would be illegal for international troops to fire on Serbian military if they chose to walk back into Kosovo. Kosovo is a province of Serbia, and nothing takes away the right of a country to defend its borders.

I don't particularly recommend this, but it is a case that would be hard to answer legally.

You can find legal academics that will argue that the length of a mans hair violates some type of law. It is not what academics argue but what is accepted by institutions and in general. The UN, UNSC, EU, US, and Serbia all accept Kumonovo as legal. At this point of time go on your crusade to get it declared illegal, I am sure you have the energy and time.
I guess that would make the agreements with Germany and Japan to end WWII illegal also.

"I think that there should not be any further compliance with European Union wishes, until the Kumanovo Agreement is totally dissolved, given the Fact that Serbia cannot recognize Kosovo, because of its current Constitution."
Do not understand what removing the KA, and the fact Serbia cannot recognize Kosovo due to its easily and quickly changeable constitution have in common.
As far as how long will Kumanovo be in force, I think that is a simple question to answer, Until it is perceived that Serbian is no longer a threat to Kosovo, that will be when Serbia "normalizes" its relations with Kosovo. As long as Serbia continues to claim Kosovo as its province there will be an agreement in place that Serbia cannot enter the territory with police or military and there will be international forces present to uphold that agreement. The ball is really in Serbia's court not the other way around.
The problem with a negotiated autonomy is that it would require international personnel to forever be positioned in Kosovo to insure Serbian compliance and probably never a repeal of the Kumanovo agreement. As its previous revocation is what created the mess to start with, and there is a saying "burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me"

There are some People who say that Serbia should normalize Relations with Kosovo, but these People may not want to normalize Relations with Serbia.

I am referring to the Kumanovo Agreement, because for as long as the Kumanovo Agreement exists, there can be no normalization Kosovo toward Serbia, or America and the European Union toward Serbia.

Legal Academics have argued that the Kumanovo Agreement is Illegal under the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, and, as a consequence, so too are parts of United Nation Security Council Resolution 1244 referring, implicitly or explicitly, to paragraph 10 of Annex 2 of the same United Nation Security Council Resolution 1244.

The Kumanovo Agreement is not valid according to Article 52 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, which says; “A treaty is void if its conclusion has been procured by the threat or use of force in violation of the principles of international law embodied in the Charter of the United Nations.

I think that there should not be any further compliance with European Union wishes, until the Kumanovo Agreement is totally dissolved, given the Fact that Serbia cannot recognize Kosovo, because of its current Constitution.

America and others need to be asked for just how long do they want to Kumanovo Agreement, seeing as it proves beyond any doubt that certain Countries have not normalized Relations with Serbia.

Although all of the right is seldom on one side of a Conflict, the Bribed and Corrupt Western Puppet Main Stream Media will present a war in stark terms of 100 % good and 100 % evil.

The Western Media ignores the fact that there are atrocities by all sides in all wars, and old atrocity stories will be dusted off and recycled.

Some of those stories will be true, but many will be false, and it will be difficult, if not impossible, to tell during the war, which are true and which are propaganda, because the truth of both sides of the conflict is the first casualty even before the war, and during the war, and after the war.

After the war, although some of the atrocity stories will be confirmed, because once a war starts, atrocities will be committed, and there will be a silent retreat from many of the most outrageous ones.

For the Albanians of Serbia’s Province of Kosovo, who Present Themselves as the savoir of civilization, as humanitarian, as caring, and as compassionate, then here is the Perfect Opportunity to accept that a Negotiated Autonomy for Kosovo Albanians is the way to prove this to themselves and others.
