Claus, don't worry. The high risk game was the Croatia match because of the history between those two countries. Tomorrows final will be calm and supporters of rivaling teams are safe. Serbs are very hospitable. If you come to Belgrade to support your team and are looking for a good time you will get it (and if you look for trouble you might get that too, but only if you are looking for it).

Here I was thinking this whole time that "handball" was some sort of gay euphemism

It is scandalous that some serbian hooligans have succeeded to make so much trouble at this handball-event, even managed to hit one of serbian players (Zarku Sesum) with a dart in the eye. There may be discrepancies between serbs and croatians, but it is no excuse to behave like this. Hopefully the danish players and spectators will "survive" tomorrows final and get out of the country alive...

Ah, so everywhere in the world there are hooligans who are stopping cars of fans of the other team on their way home somewhere on the highway (hours after and kilometers away from the place the match took place) and demolish their cars? Sorry, this is a well planned crime, not some attack from a drunk who's rioting somewhere on the street. I only know this behavior from rivaling biker clans.

Serbia and Croatia are brothers! I am from Netherlands and if Netherlands plays Belgium and we lose.... we are not happy. But the next day we SUPPORT Belgium.
Holland and Belgium are like brothers. Same is true for Croatia and Serbia!

I said it few days ago. In Serbia you can't play a game without problems, and without the entire world hearing about it. This is not good for Serbia.

LOL trust me kid, the world's got more important things to hear about than a bunch of Croats getting attacked in Serbia for giving the Nazi salute at a sporting match :)

Every country and every place has some type of hooligans. I think too much emphasis and importance are given to these delinquents which is just empowering them to up the ante. So they have 5000 policemen. So hundreds of "team supporters" were returned at the border and not allowed to enter Serbia. The real question is why? Many didnt have tickets to the event and were completely drunk. Let us see if there are more incidents and if so what punishment will these hooligans receive. No country can be without crime and people breaking the law(s) however how they are prosecuted and handled is the real test and that is how a country is judged. Just at the last Raider/49er game 2 people were shot outside the stadium and one fan severly beaten. There are numerous other examples that can be mentioned but tourists and companies still are coming to California and the people of California are not held responsible for the actions of some crazed lunatic(s).

You call this a problem? Some croat fans being attacked and 2-3 cars burned? It's not ok, for sure. But similar things happend in Croatia during Waterpolo championships not long ago. Where were you then?
These are incidents that happen everywhere where there is a major sproting event. However, you wan't to shed a dark light on Serbia for other reasons. Since albanians can't even spell the word "sports" it's obvious that you are nothing but a jelous albanian. However, don't worry. Some day you albanians will be good at something other then drugsmuggling, human trafficing, organ harvesting, terrorism and cartheft. Or, perhaps you won't.

If the gays and lesbians wanted to play a handball match, Comm, I'm sure Dacic would not have prohibited it. But they wanted to march in the streets of Belgrade, against the majority public opinion. That is the difference.

7000 policemen? Strange that the infamous Serbian interior minister didn't cancel the match because it endangers public order, like it was done for other events.
