"Because as just Kosovo or Kosova then it leaves status up to anyones personal interpretation. It is Kosovo without a status designation. Just Kosovo and Serbia does not have to address it as a state, they just say Kosovo."
(a New Day, 27 January 2012 02:28)

This would be similar to the 'solutions' of some years ago for conferences with Kosovo's participation where only the participants names were written, without any further reference to the state (or non-state, in case of Kosovo).

You know you are being unfair to say this so you telling us you are neither Serbian nor Albanian only means you belong to another ethnic group which is anti Serb.
Saying something like "I am neither Serbian nor Albanian" is only meant to make us think that you are neutral. I think you are far from it.
(Peggy, 27 January 2012 10:55)
I have never presented myself as a "neutral" person. I am pro independence 100%. Initially I was for Kosovo returning to Serbia in similar fashion as envisioned by Rambouillet but soon learned that was an impossiblity for the saftey of those living in Kosovo.
But my I am neither Albanian or Serbian was in reference to 1244. I do not understand the concept that suddenly this has become a pro Serb document. Contrary to either the Serb or Albanian perception it should be the Albanians praising and wanting 1244 to remain in force and the Serbs (out of embarassment) wanting it gone.
But I have never attempted to portray myself as neutral and my apologies if you got that impression. As far as an ethnic group that is a Serb hater. I am a mongrel from the US and have NO ethnic affiliation, and basically do not understand the concept. My only issue with Serbia and Serbs is their actions toward Kosovo.

Why is it a compromise if Prishtina agrees to be presented without any mention of the word Republic?
(aaayyy, 26 January 2012 21:02)
Because as just Kosovo or Kosova then it leaves status up to anyones personal interpretation. It is Kosovo without a status designation. Just Kosovo and Serbia does not have to address it as a state, they just say Kosovo. The only reason that 1244 is not acceptable is that Serbia infers that it is being represented as a province of Serbia and that is not in line with "status neutrality". My personal interpretation would not mean that, but I am neither Albanian or Serbian.
Of course the Serbian definition of a mutual compromise has always been you agree to do it my way.

Because they gave up a part of their biggest demand. But a compromise always needs two equal parties, so its the serbian delegation who needs to do the same and give up THEIR biggest demand (which is UNSC 1244 footnote).

Serbian government would do "all it can to win the EU candidate status"

Say no more, might as well drop your pants and bend over Borko. You said it all.
