If they want to improve their image abroad a bit, they should recommend Nataša Kandić.

Recommending Vuk Jeremić is more of an attempt of Serbia to send an F*** Y** message to countries that can't stand his stale rhetoric. The fact that they are utilizing the defunct non-aligned movement and taking advantage of Serbia's reputation inherited from Tito's Yugoslavia makes this obvious.

Tito was able to use this organization during the cold war, to represent the non-aligned countries when the world was polarized. Don't think it will work this time!

He's not buying countries. He is buying the governments of those countries and you know it.
(Peggy, 26 January 2012 11:36)

Not all the countries are as corrupt as Serbia Peggy. If your theory stood, I am sure Pacolli would have been able to bribe some of the 6452 persons charged for corruption in Serbia in the last three years for recognition... Then, Russia would be the next one to recognize, followed by Pakistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan etc. Check "Transparency International" rankings for a better idea.

The sad thing for you is that the out of the top 20 countries with the least corruption in the world, 18 have recognized Kosovo's independence (two are considering recognition, awaiting the results of the technical negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia).

Pacolli would get more recognition if he spent the "money" in building a school, or a sports center in Kosovo. It's absurd to think that these recognitions are being bought.

But again, these accusations are coming from the same people, who claimed that NATO bombed Serbia to access Kosovo's underground uranium reserves, or because they wanted to build a pipeline through Kosovo, or it was some Masonic secret plan to control the world...

I knew Pacolli was rich but to be able to buy 20+ countries, you would wonder why he would care he could just create his own kingdom. Get real people!

Considering how many recognitions Kosovo has received after Jeremic has confidently predicted that a certain country would never, never recognize it, I imagine every Albanian diplomat in the world is trying to convince its host country to please, please vote for this great Serbian diplomat. It should certainly speed up Kosovo's UN membership.

You talk of propaganda, does anyone have any proof at all that any country has been bribed to recognize Kosovo???

I'm sure Jeremic will be the perfect neutral candidate... Not!

He has p***** off a lot of countries over the years, putting words into other politicians mouths; speaking on the behalf of other countries without them agreeing with him. The usual "country X says this" and "country Y will do this".

Regardless of that, what makes him think he is going to get the support of the majority of Western countries to become GA President? He is never going to get a job in the UN (which isn't one of Serbia's representatives), never mind GA President.

The story on CNN that I referred everyone to is nowhere to be found.
I looked for it right after posting my comment--I even looked for it on the CNN site. The headline of the story was : "Britain may up Navy Presence Near Strait of Hormuz Amid Tensions" or "UK Could Send More Navy Assets to Strait of Hormuz"

I guess it was too embarrassing for the State Department to allow the Iranians and the rest of the world to read about what many Americans think of their own media, their oil companies and their "blood sucking" ways, and of those self serving egomaniacs that we pay to represent us.
We are all too familiar and sick and tired to what they do to negative stories about Kosovo,Bosnia,Croatia, and how they manipulate those stories! No shame or human dignity from these ....

It's apparent that you and the other Croats that visit B92 forum are more proud of the Western carefully orchestrated propaganda against Serbia and about what the world knows and thinks of her from those evil lies, than the Albanian's are proud of their ill-gotten and bribed recognitions.
I have advice for all those that wish to see Serbia in the light that the CNNs of the world shined on her: Go to any Western forum that has a headline dealing with Western foreign policy and you will see for yourselves that these same Westerners that swallowed those same lies that you still worship today, now,in 2012,know more about evil CNNs,Clintons and Bushes and the real truth than anybody could have imagined 20 years ago.
You can start your research by visiting today's CNN story on Iran and read the posts of today's America--that should give you all an idea--including the hate-mongering Serbs. I see the same waking-up in many Islamic countries also.
So,the only ones that still choose to believe lies are the ones that choose to live a lie. I am sure that for a Croat and an Albanian that
has become a way of life. The Croats in denial of their WW2 concentration
camps and human atrocities associated with them, and the Albanians with their organ harvesting of innocent and helpless victims.
Tadich's reaching out in Srebrenica has made him a hero in the Universe to all those that know what is needed to heal our minds and our planet.

Hey Obama, what happened to your promise brother? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48K5Y0421Ig

It's apparent that you and the other Croats that visit B92 forum are more proud of the Western carefully orchestrated propaganda against Serbia and about what the world knows and thinks of her from those evil lies, than the Albanian's are proud of their ill-gotten and bribed recognitions

You talk of propaganda, does anyone have any proof at all that any country has been bribed to recognize Kosovo???

I knew Pacolli was rich but to be able to buy 20+ countries, you would wonder why he would care he could just create his own kingdom. Get real people!
