Except for the fact that people in the Middle east protested against oppression and lack of freedom, and not against importing goods from the neighbor country.

Really ?! I thought the people in Lybia were protesting againt that great man called Ghadaffi because incited by a Nato conspiracy to get the Libyan oil, and not because of oppression and lack of freedom ! I thought that's what many said in these forums...

It's Albin Kurti's job to be a troublemaker. If he doesn't do something to get in the press (like this protest), he isn't considered working. He will just keep planning and carrying out antics like this unless/until he ever gets a regular job - and that doesn't look like it's a goal for him.

This kind of bears a bit of resemblance to what happened in the Middle East last spring.

I have just returned from Merdare to Prishtina and have to correct you that there are over 2000 protesters gathered not 100 as it is being reported by B92.
(Geroge, 22 January 2012 14:57)

The other ones that you mention are not protesters but bored jobless bystanders. That's not the same! Duh.

Why not a U-turn policy?
Isolate Kosovo!
No traffic between Kosovo and Serbia!
No acceptance of any Mickey Mouse documents !
Put army at the administrative line for to avoid any spill-over of Albanian agitation to Serbia.
At the same time, work with UN, Russia and CoE institutions for to provide security and supplies to Serbs in KiM.
Start to negotiate return of Serbian security forces in conformity with res 1244.
That's the real negotiation Mr Tadic !
Dare it !
