Redicules article, nothing new, and I agree with what somebody else said here. These were poor people who had to sell their kidney to make ends meat. Your article even said that, and the Russian foreign Secretary said that as well yesterday. I feel sorry for those poor people who had to do this to survive, and the sad thing is that this happens in a lot of poor countries. It is absolutly redicules to say now, that this is a 'new dramatic development'. It would be better if you focus your attention on what happened Screbrinica, and a lot of other places where serbian troups were doing 'their thing' in the 90's. We have a saying here, which goes something like,' you should clean in front of your own house, before u bitch and complain about the dirt in front of your neighbors house.

You will notice a big spurt in the publicity in the Serbian press on this subject when there is a need to redirect peoples thinking away from current events, or a need to rally the troops behind a common theme.

There has been NO new evidence uncovered since the ICTY investigation ended in 2004.

It would be better if you focus your attention on what happened Screbrinica, and a lot of other places where serbian troups were doing 'their thing' in the 90's. I think that has already been done and now it's time to look at others. I will agree that nothing new was revealed in this article. I will disagree with those whom say that the Medicus case was about nothing more than poor people trying to earn a living. Although the poor may have been trying to earn money, organ trade is illegal. There is no gray area about it. In the west, people do donate organs but their organs are either collected after a person dies or perhaps a friend or relative donates a kidney to someone in need. There is no selling of Organs. Thus, what was done in the Medicus situation is completely immoral and illegal. The fact that it happened in Prishtina makes the other case seem plausible. I agree with everyone, Albanian and Serb, that evidence needs to be produced. However, what I disagree with completely is the unwillingness of some to have an impartial investigation. That makes no sense whatsoever. If Serbs are proven to be wrong, and many if not all Albanians on this site say this will be the case, then Serbs have nothing to gain and everything to lose. So, you should be chomping at the bit to have this investigation. Imagine the years of fun you can poke at Serbs for their foolishness if this is in fact false. The fact that many Albanians don't want a case and others are interfering with the formation of a UN body to investigate the case does nothing but make the case seem plausible. What foolishness.

And to think a while ago, the US and their buddies were supressing this investigation at UNSC. What is there they do not want the world to know? Is it that they are supporting criminals in Pristina? Is it that they want to steal Kosovo to undermine the Russian oil and gaz pipeline? Is it the fear that Europe will become totally dependant on Russian oil and gaz, thereby the US losing its influence? All this coming from the land of justice. Then sometimes last week I read that Tadic wants the investigation under the UNSC auspecies, knowing fully well that it will be blocked. Then after that I read someone wants to assisinate Tadic. Do you wonder why?

The ICTY excessively investigated the Srebrenica massacre. And only Serbian extremist deny that it happened, the Serbian state addmitted it and apologized. So this dirt is surely be cleaned, but the dirt in Kosovo some people try to sweep under the carpet. The worst thing is that the alleged criminals are still playing important roles in Kosovo politics - unlike in all other ex-YU countries.

I agree 100% with what you said about the Medicus case being totally illegal and immoral. To take advantage of desperate people by paying them for organs cannot be justified.
However, I disagree that the fact that it happened in Prishtina in 2008 lends credibility to the 1999 case. There is a huge difference in Pristina 2008 and Kosovo 1999.
As far as a separate UN body to investigate, no one is calling for that, both Russia and Serbia are saying for Eulex to investigate with an overseer from that would report back to the UNSC so they can call it under the UN direction.
As far as your statement of that Albanians could poke fun at the Serbs if nothing shows up, you know as well as I that any investigation that does not show it happened will be deemed corrupt by Serbs and Serbia. Look at the comments here about the ICTY, who is the ICTY? It is a UN appointed court(same as what you are wanting appointed for the organ case) So the reaction would be the same. Nothing will convince the people here who so eagerly want the harvesting case to be true that it is not. Ivan you are my favorite irrational poster. When you conduct an investigation and uncover indisputable evidence that is facts. When you claim to have conducted an investigation and make allegations for which you have no supporting evidence, that is called falsehoods, lies, misleading etc.

I have never lived in Russia, but just by their general foreign policy and disapproval of most wars in progress, i can definatly say they are heading in a much better direction than nato and all its allies. The Medicus case has absolutely nothing with Dick Marty's claims. I wonder if all the recent focus on the Medicus case is a last ditch effort by Serbia and Russia to find something, since apparently nothing was found in the "Yellow House" and they do not want to look stupid.

To the reader not familiar with the issues (typical European/American TV News Watcher), even if Thaci is convicted of somehow allowing Medicus to operate, these viewers will think "wow, Serbia was right, Thaci was an organ trader".

It's all about saving face, and of course, the inat!

Nothing will convince the people here who so eagerly want the harvesting case to be true that it is not. Just like you have people claiming that the Hague is trying to kill Seselj because he is innocent.

Lots of people seem confused. There are two, separate, organ-harvesting allegations.

1) yellow house in Kukes. Kidneys taken from Serbian prisoners before slaughter

2) Hospital in Pristina. Kidneys bought from willing donors

Sure...2 investigations done, ZILCH found. Nothing. Null. Nada. there is a reason why Marty did not submit anything, because he has nothing. as for Russia being less corrupt than the US...deary me!! its a good thing you chose to make a life in the open, democratic and free thinking Russa :)

When the investigation is done by somebody who disagrees with the views of k. albanians on Kosovo you automatically call it BS. I will say it could be BS, but i very highly doubt it. As far as me living in the US, i was born here smarty pants. Russia definatly used to be much more corrupt than it is now. THings have changed dramatically since then. I have never lived in Russia, but just by their general foreign policy and disapproval of most wars in progress, i can definatly say they are heading in a much better direction than nato and all its allies. Things are on the turnaround, we will see what the albanians come up with to try and play down this investigation in order to protect their precious mafia leaders and their "don" hashish thaci.

It was Carla del Ponte, dear, that did the investigation and found no facts for an ICTY indictment. You are confusing a book with a criminal indictment – they are two different things. Leaving it to you whether she lied deliberately about the case or that she was incompetent.

There are ZERO facts to support this allegation. It has already been investigated twice and nothing was found. Of course, for Serbs (for whom the whole World is against them) this is another cover up to deny them justice. Again, ZERO facts only hearsay

I think when you do a criminal investigation and report your finding THEY ARE CALLED FACTS! If those are not facts then what are? YOu are totally ridiculous and what you say means less than a dog barking. Now that the truth is coming out the albanians want to discredit the entire world. THe have eulex and nato memebers in this investigation, the same people you thought were going to liberate kosovo and do all these great things for you. I guess all thats left to say is.... that is the whole problem, there were no facts reported. no forensic evidence, no credible testimony, nothing. only hearsay. even when Marty was challenged to provide his proof, he refused. there really is nothing to back this up

He didnt give up the information because that would only give the opposition the opportunity to try and discredit his findings with a \bunch of bs. This was actually very smart, he didnt play straight into the hands of the west. They have been investigating for years, facts will be revealed and the k. albanians true colors will be revealed once again, hopefully people pay attention this time.
By the way for those that complain about how a corrupt Russia wants to do investigations and blah blah blah.... Why is the US and other EU nations getting involved then? Why is Kfor there? They are the corruptors of the world. I live in the USA and anybody who doesnt has absolutly no idea how corrupt things have gotten here. so i definatly dont wanna hear about how Russia is corrupt.

That's a lie. We all know that Russia is a very rich country and its citizens live wonderful lives; it's impossible that Russian citizens would exchange their vital organs for some worthless euros.

Ivan you are my favorite irrational poster. When you conduct an investigation and uncover indisputable evidence that is facts. When you claim to have conducted an investigation and make allegations for which you have no supporting evidence, that is called falsehoods, lies, misleading etc.
Eulex and NATO are involved in the investigation but to date they have not revealed any information pro or con.

Kosovo has been completely based on falsehoods and lies, its not even a real independent state, even though albanians think it is. Natos lies and cover ups are being unraveled, we should see more of this in the other countries they just completely pooped on to protect terrorist networks.

The Medicus case has absolutely nothing with Dick Marty's claims. I wonder if all the recent focus on the Medicus case is a last ditch effort by Serbia and Russia to find something, since apparently nothing was found in the "Yellow House" and they do not want to look stupid.

To the reader not familiar with the issues (typical European/American TV News Watcher), even if Thaci is convicted of somehow allowing Medicus to operate, these viewers will think "wow, Serbia was right, Thaci was an organ trader".

It's all about saving face, and of course, the inat!

Thanks for reinforcing my previous comments. I am a propaganda machine. I say Eulex has not released any information pro or con. You on the other hand come on here trying to say that it is 100% true just because someone says and you ask not for any type of proof that it is true. Simply because you want it to be. Read Marty's report it says that due to time restraints NONE of the witness testimony has been colloborated. I think you fit the term Propaganda machine better than anyone else on here.
