Of course there are serious threats of assassination against public officials in Serbia, maybe more than average. But does this latest news item represent one of them? Or is it only politically motivated? Why did we hear about this one and not the other ones that show up on a regular basis?
No Serb should be threatening their elected officials, it can only play into the hands of their enemies where murder among themselves is child's play.

I had to laugh at your post. The point you are missing is this is not a trait limited to your politicians it is rampant in your country.
For instance, Newspaper A today will write "according to sources" Albanians did this dastardly deed. Tomorrow newspaper B and C will write Newspaper A reports that Albanians did this dastardly deed. Then Newspaper A will come around and say it has been confirmed by Newspaper B and C that the Albanians did this dastardly deed. It most likely did not happen but no one lied. The original source was probably the news writer at the adjoining desk.
It is even rampant among the posters here that live in different countries. They will say something According to their sources but these were either classified or confidential sources that no one else has access to so they never have to validate their claims.

Certain media have reported that police received a tip-off that an assassination of President Boris Tadić, Patriarch Irinej, Dačić and Police Director Milorad Veljović was being prepared.
I know that I put this comment on another News Item, but I did that inadvertently, and I meant to have it placed with this News Item, and I have slightly modified that comment that begins at the next sentence.
I confirm that I have Received Messages that I am Extremely Handsome, Intelligent, and especially Modest.
I know that I Received those Messages, because I sent them to myself, but I will deny it if I am Asked if I sent those Messages.
I do not care if certain aspects surrounding those Messages are Lies, or even if the Messages themselves are Lies, but I can say in All Honesty that the truth is that I Received those Messages.
