McJob is better than no job.

I have 10 people on the waiting list. I've never had to advertise an opening and the only person that quit did so after finishing her Masters while working for me and getting a job in her field. I wish her well.

Anyway, the way the world works seems to upset you.

There's not much I do about that (un)fortunately

Danilo we've had this discussion before - you provide low paying McJobs and fill your pockets, you are a carpetbagger, and at the same time you spit on Serbia and your own workers. So, I ask you, if you hate Serbia so much, why don't you move back to Canada or some other paradise? Otherwise, you are just being a total hypocrite who hates Serbia but loves the profits he gets from there.

Hi Dragan

You realize that, being in Serbia, I have more ability to comment on Serbia topics than you do.

So, quit your whining. You realize that crying about how you don't like me isn't actually contributing to the topic, right?

Once again, I'll point out that I do more concrete good for Serbs and Serbia in every month than you'll do in your entire life.

Dragan

Danilo quit your whining and go set up shop in Switzerland if Serbia is such burden on you. Oh, you don't want to, because you would actually have to pay your workers decent wages there??
Yeah, you have no leg to stand on dude, so you should just zip it and be thankful. I do realize that's too much to ask for someone as delusional, misinformed, and self hating as you though.

oh look. Four -1 votes from Australians who clearly have had no experience with Serbian bureaucracy.

All of your "big serbs" in the diaspora would gleefully bomb Serbia, if you could find a way, after a few run-ins with Serbian bureaucracy

"Free from EU bureaucracy"

There is no greater nightmare of a bureaucracy than Serbian bureaucracy.

Serbia does have a lot of potential, but there's no way for it's citizens and foreigners to realize it until Serbia modernizes it's bureaucracy like other ex-yu countries have.

Serbia's not investor friendly at all at this point, no matter how large the signs the erect at the airport informing otherwise.

T, I unfortunately do see such a leader at present in Serbia - just the recycled trash from the 90's. Just take a look - Nikolic, Dacic, Ilic, Kostunica, Draskovic, all fossils whose time is past self life. Hopefully, such a leader will emerge, but I doubt it will happen soon - until all this current trash is thrown out

The EU is sailing in stormy waters with Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Spain facing their most challenging times since the great depression. Hungary too is set to join the club of failing states where nationalism is on the rise and where the government is headed by an incompetent president whose answer to balancing the budget is by robbing Peter to pay Paul. They too are heading for bankruptcy.
Serbia may be aspiring to join the EU but the fact that its last attempt to become a member was unsuccessful, because of its failure to deal with the Kosovo saga effectively, could be a blessing in disguise.
Yes, Serbia needs to take charge of solving and settling the Kosovo question but it needs to do this in such a way that the issue of Kosovo doesn't take the focus off the real challenge this country is facing which is to restructure the economy. Serbia has a chance to become an attractive alternative for investors who are weary of the overstretched economies of Europe, most of which are fiscally connected to the troubled Euro.
Serbia is free. Free from EU bureaucracy, free from EU monetary policies and still free to decide its own destiny.
Serbia can choose to sail in calmer waters and set its own course but Serbia needs an able skipper, one who understands the complexities of leadership, one who doesn't fall in the abyss of nationalism and one that can keep a cool head when the going gets tough and it is going to get tough, very tough indeed.
