I thought the newborn Kosova was a democracy, where freedom of speech was one of its democratic pillars? In real democracies like the USA, I can call Obama an idiot, murderer, say his wife is fat, whatever, and no one will throw me out of America and restrict my entry. What is your problem, Kosova? Are you a true democracy or not? Don't you say that you are better than the Serbs?
(PapaJohn, 13 January 2012 20:24)

Why you did not make the same comment when Kosova Minister MAKOLLI was not allowed to enter Serbia?

Besim

Who needs a Serbian politician coming in Kosovo for religion purposes and play political games. Don't they have enough churches in Serbia to fulfill their religious needs. I forgot that Kosovo is the spiritual hartland of all Serbs. Well, so it is for the Albanians who make 90% of the population and have been living there for centuries.

This is a warranted move. Especially after the recent Tadic fiasco and the other numerous occasions where Serb politicians came to Kosova for "religious reasons" and ended up spewing political and nationalistic garbage. Ban all Serb politicians from entering Kosova especially around election time.

"Kuci is in charge of approving Serbian officials’ visits to Kosovo and this is probably the first time that a Serbian public figure is not allowed to enter Kosovo. "

The above is the key thing that Serbs here conventiently overlook.

It is clear now that it is Prishtina that allows or denies the entry of Serbian politicians and insititutional reps in Kosova???

Do you see what liers you Serbs have for politicans?? how many times they have stated it is not Prishtina we ask only EULEX for permission.

Well 1. why do you ned permission to visit "your" land?? and 2 it is Kuci and Govt of Prishtina not EULEX that allows or denies your entry.

Daniel

Of course the difference here is that Serbia, a country, is now allowing another political figure whose only goal is to incite problems, whereas Kosovo's (a territory) status is still up for grabs. Serbs must just ignore such rubbish and just go in.

A lot of hot words from both camps ...... but everyone seems to have overlooked one significant point ...... Tadic is President of Serbia when he went to Kosovo recently. If he had not been able to go in, I'm sure Serbia would have protested like anything ..... Delic is already an EX-minister when he tried to enter Kosovo with the Prince and his wife --EX-monarchy, ie. the 3 of them all hold no political office in Serbia -- so it would be odd for Serbia to officially protest to EU or whoever, ie. methinks it is a political non-issue.

You just don't get it, do you? It's exactly that what you said we want, nothing to do with Serbia, I mean nothing at all and to close the roads that would be a good start.

Well done to Kosovo government that they refuse those people to enter Kosovo.

Like I said yesterday, it was senseless to stop the Kosovo Minister. It was no big deal that he wanted to visit Presovo. Now, it is big deal.

Nobody will blame Albanians doing that and Serbian officials will once again pathetically sneak thru the snowy forests of Kosovo.

Looks like Albanians don't want anyone in their little hell hole, but Albanians. But that's the way Albanians like it, a land ethnically cleansed of all but themselves. And please do not start with the reciprocity BS, Albanians, these people are not politicians, like your minsiter that tried to go into Serbia and do his dirty work for Pristina with make believe documents. He would have been allowed entry had he used Serbian documents, but Pristina wants to keep playing "We are an independent nation" game. History will repeat itself, like The League of Prizren, Albanian nationalists will in the end lose again. Tick tock, tick tock, just wait till your masters abandon you.

winston

Yes, EA, let's see if Kosovo needs Serbia more than Serbia needs Kosovo. Serbia should just close their roads to anything and anyone that does not have Serbian documents coming from Kosovo, period. Have fun at the barricades with Kurti.

Kenny, please inform yourself, these people are not politicians, including Delic, he resigned a while back. Albanians just do not want any Serbs in their Newborn territory, simple.

100% agree. This behavior is really more appropriate for a kindergarten: You took my toy, so I will take yours. And one day, they want to become EU members, where are no more borders and people can move freely from one country to another

The last time when roads were closed, Serbia lost around 1 Mio Euro a day! I never saw Serbia changing mind so fast. In a matter of weeks, they accepted stamp and papers of Kosovo what they refused for 3 years. Only because of reciprocity. And now you threat again...? LOL-haha.

This time roads are only closed for Serbian officials.
