However not having UN status makes Kosovo not a recognized state.
(Ivan, 13 January 2012 18:39)

recognized state = UN member (192 states on the world, including Serbia)
not recognized state = not UN member, like the self-declared state of Kosovo, Palestine, Taiwan, Abchasia, South Ossetia and similar territories with an unclear status
(Comm. Parrisson, 13 January 2012 09:10)

Guys, in what laws did you find that garbage?! So you are saying that Vatican is not a recognized state and Switzerland got recognized only in 2003 and no recognized states existed until 1945, etc, etc. :) Something does not sound right…

Ivan

KOSO why is that funny, it is! alabania is a recognized state in the same way as well, a totally independant country. However not having UN status makes Kosovo not a recognized state.

PS: to whoever said that serbia is a recognized state like Germany all I have to say is LOL. You've got to be a comedian with such a horrible comparison.

Some word explanations for people who don't know it:

not recognized state = not UN member, like the self-declared state of Kosovo, Palestine, Taiwan, Abchasia, South Ossetia and similar territories with an unclear status

As a start, Serbia could allow international travelers to go from Skopje to Belgrade via Pristina without having to return to Macedonia first.

Dachic is setting the groundwork for Prishtina to turn back Serbian politicians who wish to travel to Kosovo...i.e. setting the groundwork to recognize Kosovo.
The question is how thick headed one is to miss this!

A passport from Kosova, what the hell is that arti? Serbia does recognize the Albanian UDI, you must have heard about that somewhere. So how in the world would a worthless passport get this minister into Serbia? Like dacic said, he can enter as a Serbian citizen, but not as someone who does not respect the state of Serbia. Get it?
(winston, 12 January 2012 18:36)

So, there exists a border between Kosovo and Serbia. It's great that we finally got a confirmation from Serbia, as well.

Lenard-what the hell are you talking about? My first language is English and I have no clue what you are trying to say. Stop these nonsensical rants for all our sakes.

Good job, we have a self-determination movement ourselves. Our determination is to stop ethnic Albanians from stealing any more of our land :)

Why doesn't he visit the diaspora in New York where they actually accept KosovA as a country lol.

You can only get a job in Kosovo if you're corrupt. Hence why the fake state of Kosova is going nowhere & the unemployment rate is astronomical.

A lame excuse by Dacic, but no less lame than the excuses we've heard from Pristina over the years about "banning" Serbian officials for "political" reasons :)

Lenard

Dačić today underscored that the Serbian MUP needs to respect all agreements Belgrade and Priština reached in Brussels, but the municipality of Bujanovac has no authority to invite politicians over and the procedure needs to be respected. That should be applied to the "Srpska" entity in the country of Bosnia i Herzegovina but as usual Serbian hypocrite politicians are the biggest hypocrites around. They live for it wallow in it they have no respect for anything any one unless it starts with Serb Serbian and it ends in Serb Serbian. Truly pathetic they can't even understand why they never succeed noboddy takes them seriously. When they say some meaningless words of platitudes expect the world to open grant them their wishes. Serb actions speak volumes not Serb pretentious words of platitudes go figure smarty's.

KOSO

Another action by Serbia towards its neighbors, good neighborly policy?
Serbia is not joining any union any time soon, what's better is that by angering Kosovars these clowns are quickly closing the door they wish to enter.

"But they cannot cross the administrative line as politicians..." The Serbian polititians MUST have the same treatment when entering Kosovo. That is one of the reason why I admire Albin Kurti and his policies towards Serbia MAINLY on RECIPROCITY. Some interesting news to come!
(EA, 12 January 2012 17:10)

Naaah EA....Serbia is a world recognized state like Germany, Spain, Norway or India. Kosovo is not. Its a Serbian province according to most people and the UNSC. Simple and no fuzz needed.

(ardi asllani, 12 January 2012 17:00)

Yes, competent persons should have informed some violent supporters of the Serbian Radicals (the counterpart of the socalled 'Self determination movement') in advance and let the car of this 'Kosovo minister' be stoned, like it's usual in Kosovo.

Lol at the hypocritical comments by the pro-albanian posters here. Serbs need albanian 'permission' but are still attacked with immunity yet albanians can go where they want and when they like.

In a statement for reporters, Dačić mentioned the recent visit of Serbian President Boris Tadić and Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanović to the Dečani Monastery, and underscored that "nobody condemned the attack on a line of vehicles including the cars of the president and the minister, or the attack on the bus transporting Serbs".

What a comparison. You should have allowed Makolli to come thrue and it makes no difference if his car was stoned.
While at it, how are the other guys coming to Kragujevac to collect birth records and deeds? They are Kosovar politicians as well, if not politicians, they are representing Kosova government and presenting their credentials , including passports of Kosova! Any thought on this one Mr. Dacic?
