Well said Miri. Montenegro is a beautiful country and you're right, as long as people can co-exist peacefully then there is no problem. Are things perfect between Montenegrin's and Albanians? They could be better, but that's the case in a lot of countries that are democratic and free. There are racists in every country in this world which means they also exist in Montenegro as well, but that doesn't speak for the majority. What I can assure everyone is that if the Montenegrins decided to do what Serbia did to Kosovars with the mass graves and ethnic cleansing....Montenegrin Albanians too would fight back and demand their own state. Its common sense...you slaughter an entire ethnic group/your own citizens and try to force them out...they will fight back. This never happened in Montenegro. Montenegrin's I would like to say are some of the most generous and hospitable people in the area there. They don't have much, but they do have their pride and sense of community and respect for their neighbors. I have a ton of Montenegrin friends here in Chicago and I would defend them just as much as I would defend an Albanian friend.

Albanians are minority within Serbia and claim to have their own state as is recognized illegally by certain other states. The serbs aren't the minority. Kosovo was never a republic and the 'borders' are only administrative. Duh!

MIRI- just about every country has a problem with albanian mafia. Just ask Greece or France, or Holland. Albanians are minority within Serbia and claim to have their own state as is recognized illegally by certain other states. The serbs aren't the minority. Kosovo was never a republic and the 'borders' are only administrative. Duh!

Well said Miri. Montenegro is a beautiful country and you're right, as long as people can co-exist peacefully then there is no problem. Are things perfect between Montenegrin's and Albanians? They could be better, but that's the case in a lot of countries that are democratic and free. There are racists in every country in this world which means they also exist in Montenegro as well, but that doesn't speak for the majority. What I can assure everyone is that if the Montenegrins decided to do what Serbia did to Kosovars with the mass graves and ethnic cleansing....Montenegrin Albanians too would fight back and demand their own state. Its common sense...you slaughter an entire ethnic group/your own citizens and try to force them out...they will fight back. This never happened in Montenegro. Montenegrin's I would like to say are some of the most generous and hospitable people in the area there. They don't have much, but they do have their pride and sense of community and respect for their neighbors. I have a ton of Montenegrin friends here in Chicago and I would defend them just as much as I would defend an Albanian friend.
The fact that Serbs cannot grasp this fact shows you how far gone and detached from reality they are in their minds.... They still think that this is medieval times. Wake up!!

lol, what? Aside from the usual troupe of people who enjoy arguing on this website, Serbs are just as nice as Albanians, Montenegrins, Croats, Bosniaks etc. and everyone else in the Balkans. EVERYONE in the Balkans are nice people, especially when not talking about politics - I know Serbs who are good friends with Albanians and they get along greatly, down here in Australia. But your attitude stinks of schadenfreude - "Oooh la la, I have a couple of Montenegrin friends who I love, but I can't trust a Serb. Waaa :(:(:("
